What a beautiful road in a beautiful car. I also love that you didn't go 10/10ths, but actually drove reasonably for the road. Looked and sounded great, awesome video man! -Fred
Cause he can't. In Switzerland anything above 100km/h on B-roads is legally very dangerous. That's why folks in Switzerland usually go somewhere else for pure driving bliss, in a car like a modern GT3 you basically never get across 2nd gear and can only legally reach 9000rpm in first gear. Makes not much sense...
@@000GunterGabriel000 Make sense, I didn't know that. I was mostly commenting because there are so many videos out there of people bouncing off redline and driving like idiots, and it was nice to see someone driving a bit more reasonably/responsibly. Thanks, and have a nice day!
I remember that day…it was a Thursday late October. I passed you with my motorcycle. The last ride out of the year. What a great video. Shows the beauty of Switzerland and the naturally aspirated flat 6 in perfect harmony! Thank you for this masterpiece!
you know.... I could just watch this video every day and sell my Touring and save a ton of money. It's about 75% of the actual driving experience. AMAZING video!!
This is every driver's dream, having a blast on a scenic mountain pass in cool cars. The scenery is bliss and the cinematics is spot on. Now the onboard sound is phenomenal, raw visceral engine symphony is what makes the whole thing so engaging, something only car guys can understand. Well done Luke and entire team. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Die Kombination eines GT3 Touring mit dem schweizerischen Sustenpass einfach umwerfend! Ein ästhetisches Meisterwerk! Luke ist ein grossartiger Künstler.
This must be one of the best video's I've ever seen on TH-cam. Not a single word is spoken in it, yet all car-lovers 100% understand it. This is what we're all gonna miss when electric cars are taking over the world, so we got to cherish this as long as possible...
Epic. No words needed. Many tried to explain in video what “driving experience” means… but none to this level. The quality of the video (unmatched again), the sound (oh, the sounds!), the scenery… A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Not a single word said… what a masterpiece… brilliant. I’ll play this video in loop for long… a very long time! Thank you Luke for taking us with you in this unforgettable drive through the Susten pass.
This hits all the high spots, sounds, cinematography, choice of shots and the car for me bought it all together. Thank you Luke, this will be one of those videos that lives on for decades that we'll come back to time and time again just to relive the experience. Having spent time driving around your backyard in the summer and now back here in Sydney, I'm sure I'll watch this just as often as I did Henry Catchpole's tribute to the manual 991.2 GT3. Thank you.
This is one of the best “auto sensory “ videos I’ve ever seen . The mountain pass is spectacular, the scenery is beautiful and this was all done in the best production sports car ever made. One of the best driving videos on TH-cam . Thanks Luke , love your work.
June 2023 had the pleasure of driving a 911 (992 4S PDK...) for 1.5K kms through Sveitz and Italy and it was five days of exactly what you have captured so beautifully. Thank you sir and keep the content coming! Best wishes
May be the best car video I've seen on the internet! The images of the RED cameras are so much fun to watch, the colors, the depth of field, the realism. It is almost like you are driving with Luke. The sound was great, too, and best of all no commentary during the whole film. Simply pure driving at its finest. Keep going, Luke!
this is the best POV car video on the internet. I'm always trying to find a video that gives all these perspectives as they drive along beautiful winding roads. You sir have out done yourself!
My God I am feeling goosebumps from my neck to my shin. This is an absolute love statement to these roads, the 911 and the whole enthusiast comunity. Thanks a lot for this mesmerizing video!
❤ really glad you made this. Thank you. For a little while now, I’ve found myself bored with new car content. It’s either reviews of soulless hybrids or wraps and body kits on Lamborghinis. I miss the pure spirit of driving. The aesthetics and natural beauty of it all. Cheers.
Finally someone who caught the no lift shift pops clacks and bangs.... my fav thing about my gt3 and with straight pipes the sound is bonkerrrrsssss Amazing vid
Fantastic Scenery, impressive even when driven the Sustenpass by my self so many times. Perfect the crackling exhaust next to the Lake on top of the Sustenpass.
OMG. Prize winning material. (As always) The "ticking" exhaust stand alone needs a soundtrack. What pleases me the most is that you drive the Porsche as every random car lover would do I think. Not always flirting with the rev limiter, but firmly up- and downshifts, with sometimes licking the +8K revs? Lovely! Thank you Luke! Hitting the Austrian Alps soon for a ski trip.
I waited for the perfect time to watch this. Here I am on a Sunday night more motivated than even to get the week started. Can’t wait to take my own 911 on some twisty roads one day.
One word only , 'Heaven'!! . Great work of video capturing from road to sun breaking through the mountains , white ice on mountain tops to sound recording of raw engine thrust .This has pretty much capture the heart beat of the Porsche 911GT3 in action! Welldone mate !
Beautifully done and very well made. Being a sound designer myself, I feel furious when people do not rev match between cuts and there is a sudden jump in the flow of drive. You do it so well man. This shows that you are an equally strong technician in post production as much as a car guy that you are. Huge respect and a big fan of you contents!!! 😍😍🤩
This is best driving video i've ever seen, especially about my dream car. The quality of the image, the sound, how you drove it is like a fuel that light up my dream even bigger. Since starting watching this video, I havent missed a day with out rewatch it, close my eye for a bit, enjoy the sound of the engine, imagine myself driving it, pressed the clutch, changing gears. So good, so damn good mate!!!!!
Hi Luke, what a beautiful video. Every element of it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I'm curently in my final year of study of Engineering with plans of moving to Switzerland next year to start my life and this is exactly what I want to be doing on my time off, just drive through the mountains. Your content is perhaps the biggest motivator for me to graduate! Thank you for your videos! All the best!

Wow. Just wow. I don't remember the last time I was speechless at the end of a video like this. Didn't want it to end. The sounds, the scenery, absolutely awesome job man.
With headphones it's insane 🤯

I just put on both earphones, play this video and go about my day 😊
One of the best soundtracks, amazing scenery, great road, incredible car. The combination is perfection.
Lost count of how many times I watched. it just gets better and better every time! Everyhting about this is just perfect!
