I can’t begin to express how much my garden has improved over the many years I’ve started my day with Garden Answer. I now winter sow, start plants from seed, prune my roses and hydrangeas with confidence, fertilize appropriately, and take care of my garden in zones. My houseplant collection has grown by leaps and bounds and they are thriving. Thank you!

The ease of moving the hose link from the faucet to winter storage and setting it up again in spring would be a game changer in any northern garden. Having it retract the way it does would make watering chores so much easier - no more dirty hands from coiling the hose!
I’m listening to your comments about your mom wanting to retire (especially as she’s in the midst of the busy spring season) but my gardening friends were just shopping at the Garden Center last week and your mom was spinning like a top, yet she was charming, gracious and helpful as can be. (How happy you must be to be her daughter.) She has MORE than 5 years of left before she will want to retire!

Oh now this is a must have. But I really pray the little 80 year old gardener, Ann, gets a hose link. I know as a 50+ year dragging the water hoses around 1 acre is like those fire hose exercises grown men do to build up their arms and torso, ugh. Gives me a solid work out. Is that a thing?

Started working in my parents garden after my Mom had a stroke. It was my stress therapy as well as a way to get her to interact. As a new gardener I had a lot to learn. Your channel was my go to for knowledge & inspiration. Thank you for all you do.
@@donnagent6046 thank you. Her stroke was 5 years ago. She had a bad fall Jan 2022 & while in hospital was diagnosed with liver cancer. The doctors wanted to put her in a nursing home. She told me she just wanted to live king enough to see the garden bloom one more time. So I brought her home. Set up hospice care and I spent the spring planting every blooming plant I could find. We were able to take her out in the wheel chair, for a couple months so she could see the progression. A couple days before she passed in June; the hospice nurses & I actually wheeled her out in her hospital bed and gave her a tour in all its glory. She got her final wish. I was blessed to be able to do it.
Russell always make me smile. Today was especially needy, gotta love him! I'm really impressed how easy the Hoselink is to use. Great time saver. As a 72 yo disabled lady it would really be useful in my new butterfly garden. Keep up the good work Laura & Aaron.

We have just bought 15 acres and are retiring. We have built a house we can age in place while caring for our 91 year old father-in-law. We have just bought 15 acres and are retiring. We have built a house we can age in place while caring for our 91 year old father-in-law. My husband is finally going to spend his days working outdoors and landscaping the 15 acres. We have gotten so many idea watching your channel, including learning about Hoselink. I have 2 hose links and need 2 more. I bought them after watching you use them and struggling with my traditional hoses. Thank you for the work you do. I love watching your videos no matter what the subject. I get great ideas. I’m always telling my family- “Laura said this, and Laura said that.” It’s like you’re my virtual garden friend.
I really can’t go a day without thinking about what project Laura is doing. She has inspired me to make bold changes to my yard. Yesterday, I overheard two children who were looking for the “fluffy plant” (Lamb’s Ear). I had no idea 😊 my yard brought joy to children … the deer 🦌 love it!!
