Hey Gayle 😀 I have always considered myself to be pretty good at multitasking, but there is no way I could pull for that many journals at one time. I'm impressed!! I always enjoy going through your boxes of pre-made ephemera...It's like dumping out a Christmas stocking filled with endless goodies.💕
Wow; every time you "rummage" through your basket of made treasures I'm in awe of what you've produced. Each is a gem in its own right! You are amazingly talented, Gayle. I think one day your journals may well be in a museum representing the arts and crafts movement of our age. I mean that seriously. In the way women's needlework, quilting, and painting of the past are now treasured, your work will be too.

I always enjoy watching you go through your ephemera. All the lovely pieces is a feast for the eyes. YesGayle one day your pieces will be bought by younger women to put on their bookshelf and admired and looked at. They will wonder about you and your life. So happy to be spending time with you while I’m crafting. Unfortunately, I’m not making journals at the moment, but I am working on goodies for the holiday boutiques at the warehouse where I volunteer. We create boutiques for each holiday and sell small items for less than five dollars so that the people in our community can purchase these cute little gifts and not spend a fortune.

Lovely morning, Gayle! My head is spinning after watching you pull items for all those journals! You're a master at it! I'm just starting to make different kinds of ephemera, so will attempt to do at least some of Rachel's challenges to build it up, along with your Craft with Me sessions. Good morning Gayle! Love to watch you get packets ready! I am going to “try” to make ephemera and put it in a journal kit right away….so I cut down on going through my ephemera! I say try because I love making ephemera and a little slower on journals!! Although it is fun to flip through and look at it all and get ideas again! Lol!!!

How did you originally find retreats to go to? Are they by invite only or open to anyone if you can get a reservation? Thanks!
The several of the retreats I go to are hosted by one of my local friends. And I host two of my own as well. My retreats are usually full with my friends as well. I started my own as I wanted journal makers only, whereas my friend’s retreat has quilters and card makers and I’m the only journal maker. Hope that helps! ❤
