Wow this was an awesome find.. Can't believe the plugin in that old.. Like i was just getting my first electric at that time, didn't even know about amp sims can be a thing.. interesting to see the stuff different from now.. i see they had an mp3/wav loader to slow down/change pitch/loop sections which definitely isn't there today.. that would be a great feature..
I agree with you, IK has a couple hits and misses in the IR department. I like a few of them, you just need to get really experimental with mixing and matching. Thanks for your comment friend! 🙌🏻
That’s ok sometimes with some amps, the problem is that the output section of the plugin itself clips the audio with no guard, so you get the worst artifact of digital clipping, and by the time it hits the fader on your daw, the damage is already done. I wish IK would put some sort or soft clip or something on the output, cause the digital clipping in amplitube is like we’re still in 2007! 🤣 thanks for your comment and I hope I helped you clarify a little why it’s better to do it this way for a showcase and review and MOST IMPORTANTLY, when producing music for professional releases🙌🏻🙌🏻 of course, for the video I left the part cause it felt entertaining to me, and that way I show that the manufacturer didn’t care to level match the presets to help the costumer have a better experience! The metal collection is very old. I remember spending all my money as a kid when it came out. Was a huge waste of time. Its also before they got officially licensed amp Sims. Notice they are all amps they already have but not labeled lol 😅

@Itsjorgelanzas I find myself using a lot of the licensed gear. Also, i really recommended everyone utilising the room mic. I usually set it to around -14.0 and the rooms i use are the small/medium studios and occasionally the large studio. And also the amp room is really good. Using the room mic makes your amp more alive, Check it out
There’s a few nice sounding amps in there though!! I like a couple in the mesa/boogie collection, others in the Jimi Hendrix and there’s a Leslie that sounds INCREDIBLE!! But, I do agree with you on this metal collection and other amps. You just have to cherry pick a lot and then work around 🤣🤣🤣 that’s why a lot of people just go with other amps. IMO the only thing holding those amps back is the IRs they come with. i use the ML Soundlab reflex greenback with those and they sound a lot better.

I usually reduce the volume on the output track itself.. that way i don't have to reduce everytime..
