@@SpaceCattttt This may not have been a suicide. The police report and family say he accidentally drowned in the LA River. That leaves a lot of speculation...
While they’re not Halloween flowers, the marigold flower, or 'cempasúchil,' are meaningful in Día de los Muertos celebrations, symbolizing the connection between the living and the deceased. Great video.
Thank you for telling us about him, he deserves to be remembered. I lost my father to suicide back in 1990, the question of why comes up over and over again, acceptance comes later. Rest in peace Arthur Levisee.
A good friend of ours committed suïcide in the late 90's she was only 19 years old, we still wonder why!? She was so beautiful and full of life. And suddenly she was gone. 😢😢
Mental illness and depression is a very hard thing to deal with. I’m so sorry about your friend. 🖤 It’s a battle every day. I am not saying this was your friends case. I am so sorry about your friend.🖤
I am so sorry for your loss. Emotional battles are very hard to overcome. It’s so easy to mask it and hide those feelings from loved ones. It’s certainly no one’s fault. But losing someone so young to suicide is unimaginable. Again, very sorry for your loss.
Thank you. All of my family is gone and I'm alone and invisible. No one asks how I'm doing or notices the pain and tears. My birthday was 9.27. Thank you for telling his story and caring.
They say suicide is the permanent solution to a temporary problem. I have dealt with suicidal thoughts for years but it is such a hard part of life. Michael, you treated this with respect. Well done. The photo that hit me since I first saw it as a little kid was that of Evelyn McHale. She jumped from the 86th floor of the Empire State building and landed on a UN limo. The photo was called a "beautiful suicide". I hated that tag and still do. So sad that people think this is the answer. Please reach out and talk to someone.
Such a beautiful video Michael I loved that you got him flowers that was so incredibly thoughtful of you thanks for sharing his story and keeping his memory alive ❤
Very sad to remember someone who felt there was nothing left to live for. Life is a journey. Some days good. Some days bad. If you don't stick around through the bad you will never get to the good.
Well said. Very true. So many people who have survived the suicide attempt all said they instantly regretted making the choice. Life is so hard but there is still hope. Anyone who thinks that they are not worthy of living, please know that you are. You can get through this and don’t have to suffer alone.❤
My brother-in-law died in this manner a few years ago and it still haunts. On his tombstone we put Precious Honored Loved from the verse Isaiah 43:4 which we found on an index card in his house. He finally escaped his pain. RIP Robert and Arthur.
Coming from someone who's tried to commit suicide, and who has had alot of therapy on and off for years. Micheal and Jessica, you always do your videos with the up most respect. This is what I found on Arthur Levisee Born in Minnesota on abt 1888 to Leonidas Levisee and Susan Henrietta FLETCHER. Arthur Levisee married Bertha Ida Schoenman and had 1 child. He passed away on 17 February 1955 in Los Angeles.
Good Job Mike! Arthur Levisee, originally from King, Washington was a bottler in the brewing industry in the area of Los Angeles, had one daughter and married for first time in 1911 and then married for second time in 1954 shortly before his death. His only child Evelyn Levisee, who died in 1998.

Great video sir. The LAPD Historical Museum has rights to this picture and sells copies of it to the public. It’s a unique picture because at that time the Los Angeles Police Department still operated the city’s ambulance service and the photo depicts that. Another historical point is that just a few blocks away is the neighborhood where Walter Collins was kidnapped. That incident was featured in the movie Changling.
