loved your reaction..... this song was hugggge in UK, its about models being self centred, funny.......... i had a mesh t-shirt ...................... new subscriber...
He is joking around - arrogant humour is a big part of British humour in general. Robbie Williams used it a lot, and non-musically, Rowan Atkinson uses it a lot too. I personally adore it and find that kind of humour hilarious, though not everyone gets it.
He's not talking about himself, he was taking the piss on shallow people at his gym. "Stupid Girls" by Pink and "Glamour Boys" by Living Colour are other great songs that make fun of shallow people.
too much cocky.. that's exactly the point he was making. he and his brother (guitar guy in the back) used to run a gym and were constantly confronted with people who spent a lot of time looking at the mirror.. and this was the height of the fashion industry, when catwalk models used to feature front and center in pop culture, much more than they even do now.. the times of Cindy Crawford, Naomy Campbel and the likes.. people were enamoured with looks, appearances and "fashion" to extremes that now are less prominent.. Right said Fred were taking the piss out of this cultural phenomenon.
i've seen a few american reactions to this video .. it's interesting they generally don't seem to get that this is tongue-in-cheek poking fun at fashion models. It guess it's an example of brit humour missing the mark in the USA.
esta canción es genial, es una sátira, una burla al mundo de la moda y el extremo egocentrismo y pretención que hay en el.....se burla de esa gente que se cree muy sexy o genial, superior a todos los demás.
The song is a joke-they were a joke band that surprisingly are still very popular in parts of Europe & Asia 30 years later, although not here in the UK surprisingly as they were huge for a few years then nobody bought their records. The line too sexy for my hair is the giveaway that it is not about him.
You got the idea here right off. It's what people in music call a novelty song, ie, pretty silly is all. This must be the 80s, when fashion and pop music got mixed up together. You're being kind to them. I agree that the song is okay, with a good guitar break. The name RSF comes from a phrase in another lighthearted English song from the sixties. I think it was about two guys trying to push a piano up stairs. I am not making this up...
The song "Right Said Fred" was sung by Bernard Cribbins, a prolific actor who is best known for appearing in the Fawlty Towers episode "The Hotel Inspectors".

Totally straight guy here and proudly saying this song always puts a silly smile on my face. When I'm 90 years old I hope I have this swagger.
He's pulling everyone's leg with this song - its a sarcastic dig at modelling and fashion.
It's a song that makes fun of supermodels that get played at fashion shows.
He is just making fun of the people who are self loving who think they are better than most ..English Humor
Just when I thought i`d finally forgotten this,,,, damn, gonna be singing the thing all day now,,,
You have a contagious smile! Love your reaction.
To be quite frankly, it has a solid dose of (British/European) sarcasm in it.....)

Yes, this song was "making fun" of models and how conceited they can be. I see you on 16K, now ... You go girl. Congrats.

I'm not sure if he is too sexy, but I know his voice is very easy on the ears. Fun and catchy song.

That little guitar riff is from a Jimi Hendrix song "Third Stone From the Sun."..He is definitely just having a little fun here..Very funny, actually.
It's like, a song that was meant to be made, and someone had to do it! lol
He's not talking about himself, he was taking the piss on shallow people at his gym. "Stupid Girls" by Pink and "Glamour Boys" by Living Colour are other great songs that make fun of shallow people.

It is catchy.
It's called satire! He was making fun of the fashion industry!
I see no cringe. Bring this style back, mesh shirts, open ass shirts.
I believe he and his brother (the one with the red guitar) were fitness models until they started with music.
This dude is making fun of models and what they think about themeselves back when models are only skinny😂😉😝
No, he was making fun of the gym guys that pose in front of the mirrors between each set
Haha. For a humorous song it's pretty great.
Taylor Swift sampled this for 'Look What You Made Me Do'
I’m too sexy to leave a comment.
Fun song :)
Love your reaction. Stay humble Quay, you are genuine. You are a beautiful girl.
Thank you

British humour can be quite sarcastic. So he's just poking fun at people who really think like this.
ha ha ... don't take it too seriously ... just enjoy as he does ...
Lol I didn’t
I think the band was making fun of the Fashion industry.
