Im not usually impressed with subaru's only for the fact they're everywhere and they're all customized. This car though sounds like a porche race car and is absolutely stunning to look at and the engine sound is beef cake. Applause to you sir for making this one of a kind gem and sharing it with the world as you built it. My wife wants your car lol, thats how i know its a 1 off.

broke in my 21 WRX Premium, kept it under 4000rpm for 1500 miles, changed the oil after 1000. put the first 1000 miles on in 2 weeks just driving around town lol i figured i needed to get those break-in-miles on it and it couldnt hurt to put the miles on rather quickly to speed up the process. a year and a half later and super happy with the car. Look forward to getting in it every single day. keep crushin it, Tanner

Learning to Trust again is huge for builds! It took a lot for me to be comfortable enough to drive my STi the way I intended for it's +400whp goal (with it being my first ever project especially). I took a four hour trip out to visit a friend and was banging gears while I was down there and it made it back safe besides one of my tires blowing out lol! I can't imagine what you're feeling though. It's such a weird nervous feeling but you can help but crack a smile. Definitely gave me that feeling watching you behind the wheel
That learn to trust is something I struggle with. My 1966 VW bug has been down so many times over the last 7 yrs while I have been modifying her from engine to suspension it's hard to trust that I can drive a long distance

the cam timing before vwas your coolant issue it was causing a premature heating from pre ignition. but still sucks had to go thru a motor to figure out a major issue but at least your here now

@@Smeedia For right now a fun daily. Got a new off the truck 21 after someone t boned the 18 :( working with drunkman after getting a grimmspeed intake/inlet and charge installed. Next is BPV/intercooler and jpipe. Then back for another tune. Already got an AOS installed as well. I'll have some fun with that for a bit and then maybe a bigger turbo...who knows?? Side note, if you ever got over to the east coast for Boxerfest I know tons of guys that would geek over blue....me it's me

Been watching for a while, it's sweet to see this thing on the road finally! You were about as giddy on your first drive as I was taking my original SVX out on the road the first time haha. I still have the EG33 from that car and have dreams about dropping it into a Gen 1 flat roof Legacy wagon. Seeing you do all the ECU and wiring for this project is starting to make me think my project could really happen one day, maybe even with turbo sounds. Thanks for loving the EG33 and giving it a proper home, not dropping it in some Volkswagen Van 🤣

the r1 I used to have had a cross plane crank and so it had elements of a v8 and I hear all those sick sounds coming from this eg but better. outside of like screaming v12s I think this is the best sounding engine imo.
Congrats on the drive.. Check out haltec videos. They have a video on setting up the ve and “auto tune”. As you drive it the haltec will adjust air fuel and help with drive ability allot.
This car makes a noise that, as a kid, I would drop whatever I was doing and run outside to see what was THAT? The first time was in the late 70s. A farmer neighbor built a straight pipe V8 tractor for tractor pulling competitions. It looked like a top fuel dragster and he would drink on weekends in the summer and drive it up and down the main road for 15 or 20 minutes and then duck back into his barn before the cops would show up. By the time he parked it the road looked like a parade was on. Every male between 10 and 30 was out, and a fair number of girls, revelling in that beautiful noise, and egging him on. Consider yourself egged on, young man!

I have always loved and preferred a half inch to a full in difference with the front being lower obviously...I like the agreaaive stagard look but with 2 different sizes of times smaller in front bigger in back

Been watching for a while, it's sweet to see this thing on the road finally! You were about as giddy on your first drive as I was taking my original SVX out on the road the first time haha. I still have the EG33 from that car and have dreams about dropping it into a Gen 1 flat roof Legacy wagon. Seeing you do all the ECU and wiring for this project is starting to make me think my project could really happen one day, maybe even with turbo sounds. Thanks for loving the EG33 and giving it a proper home, not dropping it in some Volkswagen Van 🤣
Lol had to keep it in the subaru, PLUS no SVXs were harmed by me in the making of this thing so that's a win 😅🔥

the r1 I used to have had a cross plane crank and so it had elements of a v8 and I hear all those sick sounds coming from this eg but better. outside of like screaming v12s I think this is the best sounding engine imo.

Check out haltec videos. They have a video on setting up the ve and “auto tune”. As you drive it the haltec will adjust air fuel and help with drive ability allot.

This car makes a noise that, as a kid, I would drop whatever I was doing and run outside to see what was THAT?
The first time was in the late 70s. A farmer neighbor built a straight pipe V8 tractor for tractor pulling competitions. It looked like a top fuel dragster and he would drink on weekends in the summer and drive it up and down the main road for 15 or 20 minutes and then duck back into his barn before the cops would show up. By the time he parked it the road looked like a parade was on. Every male between 10 and 30 was out, and a fair number of girls, revelling in that beautiful noise, and egging him on.

I have always loved and preferred a half inch to a full in difference with the front being lower obviously...I like the agreaaive stagard look but with 2 different sizes of times smaller in front bigger in back
Normally that's how I've done it too, but not sure how much compression were going to get when we go wot 😅
