Guys this song is 19 years old with music, so you can't compare it with DJ Snake and Lean on which may be just 3-4 years old. It may be that they must have copied from Bollywood
Please check the old version of this song from movie "Bombay"
dhanashree mirgal they'd enjoy this one more mainly because koreans are more familiar with recent pop music rather than traditional indian music. it depends when and where you grew up and what type of music you like. me an indian born in america likes the newer version more. it's an older song but modified to fit the newer taste.

okay so the thing about Bollywood music is that the people you see on screen aren't really the ones singing. That's the case here too. So the actors basically just lip-sync!

This is basically a new version of an old bollywood song. 😂 and yea this movie is also a Hindi remake of a South Indian movie as well! The actress' name is Shraddha Kapoor (in case David wants to know) 😂

In Hindi, Humma has no specific meaning..but i wonder if it has some meaning in any of our neighboring countries..its a reprised version..and its original was shot in 90's and in that movie it was a specific girl doing that song..in that case it could be her name as well..in short this music has got a diff vibe with that syllable..hope u enjoyed..thank u...

I have no idea what Humma Humma means but I would not be surprised at all if David's guess was correct and it was like the Korean Omma Omma. The original song was in Tamil, which also have a similar word, "amma" for mother. We pronounce it almost exactly like the Koreans do and use it to react to surprising things like they do as well. Tamil and Korean share so many common words that there is a whole Wikipedia page about it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Pacific_language_family
