This isn’t the first time warner bros doesn’t credit their artists for making their animated films. It’s just people haven’t spoken out till now. Which is really disappointing since these people put so much time and effort into giving us these films that they don’t even bother giving them credit.
I mean I’m glad that they addressed it. But that won’t erase the fact that they weren’t credited on the movie they worked on, not getting a chance to be immortalized in one of their projects.

This is super common in the industry. If you take into account every artist who touched a film and the leagues of supporting employees that help make a movie (IT, HR, Accounting, Finance, etc...) the credits length would probably double or triple.
@Sheldon it’s mostly principle. If you don’t credit the people who worked hard on the project, your not giving them any thanks or respect for making it possible. It’s especially important for exposure which should come along side your pay
I'm not 100% sure this is true, but I've heard that almost all animation studios (with the exception of Pixar) don't put every artist in the credits if they didn't play a big role. I guess this is a pretty common occurancr
As an artist myself not professional quite yet i still have to say that when we work on something for somebody no matter how long we work for we put in effort for that project or piece and DESERVE to be credited right then and there not AFTER when hype is already pretty much over cause it doesn't give us the attention we have earned by working our butts off for someone who decides to leave people who worked on the project as well out and only give credit to a select few intentionally knowing they are giving credit for some of the work those people did to people who didn't do those parts of the project! So i believe those people deserve much more then a small post i feel like an actually apology is due plus the original credits edited to include the artists they left out it's only right they had a part in it no matter how small or big someone's role is and in this case it's a huge role it's only fair everyone is present in the credits Ps this also should be said that you shouldn't take people's art as well since it's not right

If it ever has a home release it's highly likely that they won't edit the credits there either, and it's not that hard of an edit to fix at all, so everyone should still hold their feet to the fire like you said. It would be way easier if the contract says that if you work under a 3 month contract you won't appear in the credits of the movie yet you'll be paid and can use it as job reference.

The animation in this film was absolutely beautiful. I find it refreshing that there is still potential for thriving 2D animation even in modern cinema. All those people's hard work had to be acknowledged, as their efforts were incredibly important for the finished product.

Honestly as long as they get paid it’s probably not a big deal if somebody worked on a movie they should acknowledge that if they wish but I made it probably be tough to put every single animator that worked on this film in the credits that’s a lot of people.

I loved the movie I gotta admit. Mostly because I love the Looney Tunes. The artists did and incredible job on the movie.

They didn't credit the voice actors during the promotional phase. they waited until after the movie to credit the artist. WOW they are really showing their butt to people who worked on it
