Just heard the sad news Paul di,anno has passed! A great loss to the world of rock music. I met Paul in swindon uk in 1979. A maiden gig in the town . He was a gentleman and lived heavy rock all his life. R.i.P. always remembered never forgotten.
Mate i can tell you from his interview what a true Gentleman. And what a track this is.....What better people to make this song again!!! Sadly I didn't get to see him, But his music lives forever. We will always be Running Free!

RIP Paul. You broke into my life in 1981 with Killers and defined British Heavy Metal and my own musical taste. Your raw, brute and earthy vocals carried an energy that gave the music a street, working-class feel which was always distinctly yours. That said, I don’t like this version of Wrathchild. It sounds like it’s trying too hard to be different to the original with new melodies that soften the track and tinny guitar sound. RIP.
Not the edge of the original but a good version with better vocal quality. I like the original better. Anyway, it's good to have Paul releasing material.
I remember ZP from the old Dragonforce days, I know it’s been 20 years but hell his voice is un-fucking-recognizable. That said, this was altogether unnecessary 🤌🏻
I love ZP, but he's a VERY bad choice for Paul to duet this song with. - Intrumentally, it is FAR superior to the Iron Maiden album version (which is the nature of the first 2 IM albums; great songs, but overmixed as hell, see Soundhouse Tapes if you don't get my point.) Paul sounds great, though! I would have seriously liked this version if it wasn't for ZP, just doesn't work for me, no offense to the bloke.
