Ghana is not even there yet. We are going to revamp the entire curriculum and tailor them to skill-based programmes. Graduates should be well-established and skilled to function in 21st century world of work. Once we finish, we will market our educational system as tourism to attract foreign students. There'll be more opportunities for Nigerians to participate in our education system here to progress in life.

Yes I believe this too. Nigerians are talking about this now, next thing is when the time comes, the government won't be able to fool them no more. Seeing these videos on TH-cam I understand how corruption can destroy things. Every country in the world is corrupted, Ghana is corrupted so is Nigeria but over there in Nigeria, you can see the destruction clearly. Let's pray and fight for a better future for all Africa. Though school fees was high, we had every facility. In my time, local students paid ghc7k a year foreigners paid $4k. I wanted to send my brother I asked for the fees for local student. It is now ghc8k per semester but the school is better than when I was there. Privates schools can compare to government schools. This is fact. When I was there, we had a good science lab. We worked with chemicals in experiment. 2 Good computer labs, we had 3 different libraries n 1 science lab. Good assembly hall. Good playground though small compared to government school. Better food than government schools. Good toilet facilities, every floor had toilets, on main on of the ground. Bording house too, every floor had toilets n bathrooms

These are some of the things you put into perspective 👌 when you're rating a country and not just the size of the land scale of the size of the population. We have to admit where things are going or have completely gone wrong and find ways to revive them, but some Nigerians are so naive that they will attack Ghana unnecessarily and defend the bad things in Nigeria. They forget about Nigeria being giant and concentrate on things like these if they really want Nigeria to work. Thank you for that analysis. You've been critical and transparent with it. Well done my sister....i am a Ghanaian but admire the way you speak with boldness. You have a unique way of presenting and seem to be very fluent in the use of proper English. You also portray a great zeal and passion for what you do.Behind your picture in this video,it states I am a Lawyer......i wouldn't be surprised if you are a Lawyer. With the constant complain by Nigerians in Ghana that there is virtually no electricity supply in Nigeria, how do you do your videos?
One thing that you Nigerians forget when comparing Ghana to Nigeria is that we have two different cultures.Especially when it comes to schools,we are brought up to value it so much that we will make any sacrifices. That culture may be absent in Nigeria.Again you guys don't take into consideration the fact that Nigeria's population is almost ten times that of Ghana but the landmass may not.The population of the Yoruba in Nigeria is about 50 million and Ghana is only a little over 30 million.I'm not in any way trying to hold breathe for the Nigerian government but Ghana also has challenges in the education sector. There are many parents in Ghana who also complain the same way you do.This reminds me of the saying, the grass always looks greener on the other side.
In my opinion,it's not the Nigerian government alone that must do more but also the PTA's and Old Students' Associations in Nigeria that must help as we do in Ghana. So by all means learn some good things from the Ghana system but understand that each nation is unique and things cannot be transplanted wholesale from one country to another.
Lastly,in my opinion Nigeria's greatest challenge is the too high birthrate.....no country even in the advanced West can afford the rate of the Nigerian population growth. If Britain,America or Germany had the same population growth as Nigeria, they may become third world countries within a a decade or so.Let Nigerians start family planning today and maybe within a decade, things will begin to change.Remember that Rome was not built in a day,so when it comes to national development,it takes time and effort. We all have to be patient and make sacrifices for a better future.Let's not Nigerians feel bad by thinking that Ghana is better, that's a fallacy.Let Nigerians remain home to help rebuild their country rather than Jakpa-ing to countries they feel are doing better because that's a defeatist attitude.Let patriotism make Nigerians choose Nigeria first as you have done. You are a great example to Nigerians all over the world.
