Ageism. People telling people “you look so much older” as if it’s a massive insult. Or people hating people for looking “old” in general. The movie The Substance talk about ageism and sexism a lot
When I was a teen I didn’t want to hear “oh you look so much older than 16.” I knew that. It didn’t make me feel good hearing it all the time. I was a kid, trying to live life and having men and women talk about how I looked 20-22 was annoying. Stop telling people that and they wouldn’t see it as an insult or something creepy.

There were chipmunk versions, "kid versions" (where its only sped up a little bit, so the voice sounds kiddy but not like a chipmunk), and "male versions" of female pop songs (just being slowed down slightly) LOL
in regards to the sabrina over sexualization thing it’s more of a misogyny issue. like i don’t see anyone criticizing the weeknd for having songs like “or nah” but as soon as sabrina sings about sex it’s “endangering the youth” society hates when women sexualize THEMSELVES bc they are meant to be sexualized through the male gaze instead
i don't like her music at all but this discourse is ridiculous! she's a whole adult woman and i'm so sick of people moralizing women like Britney, miley, now sabrina. like they're not allowed to grow up?? not their job to self censor, life isn't child friendly.
such a good point you make about hyper sexual male artists. within rap female artists are often criticized for being too sexual (which is basically the only route to mainstream success) yet male hip hop artists are saying the foulest things on a regular basis and no one bats an eye!
Thank you! It’s always “what about the little girls” but the little boys can consume any media they want because they don’t want to control them the same way they do women. Also, why the hell are these parents taking their children to expensive concerts when the music is in your face sexual!
6:09 LOUDER. I'm so tired 😭 I had to listen to old albums by classic divas (Whitney, Celine, Mariah, etc) to satisfy my desire to hear a good bridge! BRING BACK THE BRIDGES!
There are a lot of songs out with lots of bridges people just don't want to hear them or disregard them, it could just be me but all the new music that came out this year that I've listened to usually never dissapointed when it came to bridges.
Even though shes not a vocalist by any means taylor is the only modern artist of this gen that STILL does bridges (infact shes most known for constructing & building some of the best bridges)
I didn’t think diddy jokes were funny since the beginning. I just thought about the victims and their abuse, and just didn’t feel like a laughing matter.
The "thank you Beyoncé" was funny (to me) for like 2 days then people started overusing and being super gross with it that became so unfunny and cringe. I remeberd when people were saying things like Liam Payne died because he forget to thank Beyoncé like.... can we as society star taking thing seriously again?? Also I do hope that people leave Beyoncé alone because my god the Aaliyah stuff was terrible too
Yeah I hate that people now putting the Beyonce theory all over again like we're in 2015 all over again geez 😭 I'm not a stan but I do think that the thank you Beyonce was overused
I think making a joke out of some serious things is a way to cope for the new gen, like trying to see the funny side out of certain situations, it’s does become problem when it’s at the expense of someone getting hurt or harassed, I think that’s where the line is drawn.
As a child of trauma yeah it’s definitely A coping mechanism, today there’s so much shit going that if you really took the time to try & take it in you’d be sad & probably heavily depressed. You know it exists & you’re not completely disconnected cause you know about it to make a joke but it’s just easier to make it through the day
@@Maneater1206right, like y'all ain't being traumatized, why am I a senior hearing freshmen talk and joke about it like it isn't the serious topic that it is (ofc they're kids, so it's not like I hold it against them, but still), people just see it to joke about the stereotype of gay men being predators
@@Maneater1206right??? I get if it’s for yourself because i joke about my own trauma with my friends every once in a while but how are you coping with abuse that happened to someone you don’t even know who was abused by someone you also didn’t know. It’s just people not taking the situation seriously and trying to be funny because a lot of people don’t care about abuse and peoples first instinct is to, at least online is to joke and get the top liked comment or post instead of taking it serious and when people ACTUALLY want to be serious you get harassed for not following the crowd and taking a joke I guess if they mean with coping with the subject matter or the idea of it existing in our society but I don’t see how joking about someone else’s hardships can make the individual feel better given the context esp if you haven’t even experienced it yourself
there are three main things that stood out to me for all the wrong reasons this year… 1. making jokes about diddy/baby oil 2. the beyonce hate train 3. parasocial relationships with artists
Diddy wins the #1 nomination for 2024. The gallons of baby oil in the mansion. The evidence of him beating the shit outta Cassie. His relationships in Hollyweird. The mysterious death of Kim Porter. Him being linked to the death of 2pac and Keefe Death. The diddler wins the award for the most fuckery of this year😅😅
Can we also leave in 2024 loving on an underrated artist one minute then once they actually breakthrough, an unnecessary hate train is formed?!!! I’m seeing twitter do this with my fave Doechii right now & it’s so irritating
That's been happening forever. Green Day and the Black Eye Peas are examples of alternative artists that were launched into mainstream just bc the music was so good. But their fans called them sellouts
@@BombshElle_7 To be fair, Green Day are fake punks with fake accents, and BEP are indeed sellouts haha. Before Fergie joined the group, their music was nicely experimental, then they turned into a mediocre pop-hop factory.
And stans are so annoying, they're the reason why I stopped caring for twitter. Stans will praise everything their favorite artist releases, and it's such a joke at this point, because most of the music isn't good because of that.
agree. popular music is so bad these days (sorry, it is.) because people praise mediocrity. and pop music was not good this year regardless of what people may say, it was just as bad as it has been for years now
This is a very difficult subject because give me a definition of good music that will encapsulate every genre and lyrical theme? You can’t. Music is very subjective. I’ll give you an example, in my opinion, ABCDEFU by Gayle is actually a really good song, but most people don’t think so. This is why when Stans defend a body of work that isn’t really considered good generally, I just respect where they are coming from.
@@oliviacolone yes, prime example are comments like @Imnotspecial0.0 's. They'll try to make excuses for weak albums/songs by saying everything is subjective. If that's the case, then why even bother to say if a song is good or not? Doesn't matter, it's all subjective, so no one needs to voice their opinion, it's pointless. It's such an ignorant mentality to have, I'm pretty much over the excuses.
@@cory5495That's the problem. Y'all only ever talk about the "mediocre" and never uplift those that you count as "good." LOVES calling out and being a Regina George when in reality, you're just George. Tired of the excuses? Then take a rest and IGNORE. Maybe you'll be happy for once.
@@Akiono-ih5tl you're literally just making stuff up out of your own imagination. People with some sense give their flowers to the artists who deserve it, people like you call them overrated and praise the underserving to make yourselves feel better.
I LOVE ttpd, but still I recognize the many shortfalls of the album, you can love something and recognize the good and the bad, the whole situation with billboard rankings makes me feel kinda icky about the fandom now, for some the fact that Taylor has done mistakes is for them a "way" to attack their face in stan wars, the fact that Taylor can be number 2 sometimes doesn't mean that it's great that Taylor is so great she's with the tops, it means that someone is occupying a place Taylor "should've" had, which is an attack on her
You are 💯 on all this. Making pedophilia into a meme or a bit has been a trend and it’s just not freaking funny. Sick of seeing people take serious matters and sensationalism trying to make a buck off of it…
7:42 TRUE! I’m so tired of mid, forgettable, bad albums, songs, etc., by major artists getting overblown critical praise by major publications. The most glaring case from this year was with Taylor Swift’s “Tortured Poets Department” where some publications retracted their original less-than-stellar reviews and claimed that it was because they “didn’t listen to the album enough” or “reviewed the record so early in the morning”, while others like Rob Sheffield of Rolling Stone deemed it an “instant classic”. These overblown reviews prioritize profit over genuine criticism of the music and delegitimizes the art of music criticism.
Ethel Cain recently mentioned how we're living in an "irony epidemic" since we can't take anything seriously anymore, and I think that perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with 2024.
Can we leave rage bait, calling stuff cringe, celebrity worship toxicity, “woke” and “Womp Womp” behind in 2024? Some people need a freaking thesaurus or dictionary with the amount of times people kept saying to replace “ew progression and empathy.” The only Diddy joke I can laugh at is a pun “Diddy do it? Yes… he did…” The baby oil ones is confusing and uncomfortable. Yes, people of trauma joke as a coping mechanism, I do it too, but people are missing the point that you have to consider HOW you’re doing the joke and how you say it.
Absolute yes to all these. Especially the stan absolutism. Some of them are absolutely insane to the point where I don't even bother listening to certain artists and genres. I hate sounding like a "old head", but those people really need to touch grass. Also, this might be controversial, but let's leave the generation war behind, too. Fighting because of the year or month you were born in is stupid.
This video was nothing but facts. Everything doesn't need a meme, and people turned that Diddy situation into a joke. People are quick to go run behind people like Jaguar Wright and repeat what she says, but ignore the thing reported in the actual Diddy lawsuits. And somehow everyone turned their attention to Beyonce during the Diddy scandal, and I just think it's racists who want to take down black celebrities and not actually put two and two together and look into the white people funding people like Diddy. And yes Tate being completely naked in her music video didn't have anything to do with the song, and I haven't watched it since. She comes across as just another girl who signed her name on the bottom line, and is just another industry slave.
people don’t care about facts anymore, just sensationalized salacious headlines. the fact that a guy who abused children and adults gets jokes made about his situation while a woman who has nothing to do with it gets dragged into it says A LOT. tell a lie long enough and people will start to believe it. but remember, lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons.
@@glasstablegcrls EXACTLY!! People want to laugh and giggle about Diddy, but then turn their attention towards Beyonce and act like she's the real villain. It shows most of these people are crazy. They haven't even addressed Jay Z threatening to throw Rihanna out of a window if she didn't sign his recording contract, they went all out on Beyonce for literally no reason.
Re racist, how? Like the vids i get about the "illuminati" seem to be mainly from african americans. But maybe im not seeing the whole picture looking in (im in northern europe)
The “no diddy” trend is getting annoying. People who are hopping on it are only doing that to make fun of Diddy’a victims (men to be specific) People don’t really care about what Diddy has done, the only thing that matters to them is his homosexuality.
Most people saying it aren't mocking Diddy's victims, they are mocking Diddy. Its also ruining his name by running it through the mud and making it synanous with the heinous acts he's accused of.

@namjoonie936 I wrote a single word - boring - to a K-pop idols practice dance, and it was like I starved a child. Meanwhile, the K-pop training is full of insults to make idols better and thicken their skin for what's to come.
Can we leave the “thank you Beyoncé” and “Beyoncé went to Diddy parties” or whatever stuff in 2024? Unsure if she went or not, but also find it strange that whenever a celebrity goes down in flames Beyoncé is the first celebrity blamed or associated with it idk just doesn’t sit right with me
I've always thought it was so ridiculous that some random TikTok conspiracy theories is enough for people to actually believe the whole "thank you Beyoncé" thing, as if it's that strange that people thank one of the biggest industry icons for inspiring them. Meanwhile, men who actually do bad things WITH EVIDENCE goes freely under the radar because they want to throw pitchforks at yet another woman. And if it's about her association with Jay-Z: that dude gets a fraction of the flak that she's been getting, so these people honestly can't tell me that's why they've been ganging up on her.
I agree with Honest on the reasons why we should stop saying No Diddy but that term isn't going anywhere until the early to mid 2030s because people didn't stop saying No Homo until the early to mid 2010s and that's when it was replaced with Pause until this year.
Yesssss!!!! It pisses me off how they coined the term "no diddy" in reference to something being gay which is so homophobic and it just further push the narrative that us gay people are predators and or sexual devian, especially when most of is crime is against women. Regardless of that, the focus should be about the circumstances of the situation which is abuse happening against both smh 🙄🤦.
Many of the trends you have spoken about, like overmemeing, feel like trends we should leave not just in 2024 but in the whole decade since they don't seem to die down anytime soon. Some of them may even get transformed to whatever will be "mainstream/current" at given times, like "No Diddy" (who on earth has thought of this, it's stupid!). I will wait for 2029 to watch your vid on "Trends We Should Leave In the 2020s". And I totally agree with you on Stan Absolutism, I was attacked once in a Discord server for daring to say that I don't like one song of the band I'm a fan of.
100% agree - never underestimate a good bridge! Personally, I love songs that build and have dynamics. Songs with meaningful lyrics that will stay with you and a bridge is often my fav part of a song when it builds with intensity or is a turning poing like in a good film. Good Luck Babe is a perfect bridge IMO when Chappell holds the note at the end into the last chorus. Perfection! It could have been a 2 min song and still catchy but the lyrics and the emotional journey it takes you on would not be the same without the bridge IMO. ✨❤🔥
NGL The Weeknd and Frank Ocean has actually showed you that you don't have to have the typical song structure and the song still be over 2 minutes long. Examples are 'Love in the Sky' and 'Pilot Jones' 😊❤
I’m so over the “Best this” & “best that” list like when Apple Music did that albums list & Billboard with the pop stars list. It creates unnecessary division and just shows how out of touch these so called publications are
Exactly! To me it's just rage bait, I think the only reason they even make such lists is to ignite conversation, not because they actually care about it or stand behind their 'opnions'. What's even more annoying to me is that yet somehow everyone loves to discuss and analyze these lists as if it was ever serious to begin with. I guess people just love to fight about who and what is better but to me that is such a huge waste of time. Spend that time actually listening to your favorite music and artists instead of fighting lol
@@strawberrymilkshakewithastraw This comment right here!!! Yes I agree. I feel like they just want people to go their apps or websites just for traffic and attention.
@@phillinsogood Yes I think that's exactly what they want and they get it every single time lol, Billboard is now releasing ANOTHER best popstars list but this time of 2024, guess they needed some attention again 😪
Also we need to leave that "one friend that's too woke" meme in 2024 bc the way people have bastardized that meme and constantly use it to even shut down meaningful conversations and its kinda gross tbh.
Exactly woman will be sexualized regardless if they promote their sexuality and at least with these woman own it For instance, Sabrina makes sense to do it because she is talking about dating and sex within her relationships so it doesn’t seem random
i don’t think her hype will die down until she finishes re-recording her old albums. she has reputation (which is next) and debut. and she’ll probably give us a new album in between the two. we def have another 2-3 years of her in our faces. and this is coming from someone who listens to her music
You’ll probably still hear about her a lot because she has three more projects coming up, but she definitely won’t be in your face anymore because The Eras Tour is finishing this year.
The whole "thank you Beyonce" trend can definitely be left in 2024, as well as the idea of painting her as some crazed murderer that just takes people out for the sake of being number one. Also, I really hope singers stop overdoing their riffs, runs, and belts, especially on songs that they do not fit. I am so tired of basic pop songs being performed with extra runs and belts that do nothing for the song.
I completely agree, especially with extremist stans a good example is Swifties getting mad at people for listening to Taylor’s early work. Ps: But just to touch on the subject a little more normalizing stan culture/stan wars is probably one of the worst things we’ve done this generation. Being a hardcore fan is not something exclusive to this day and age, and it’s definitely not something that’s exclusive to just music. However, fans are going way to far nowadays, with Nicki fans leaking the address to Meg’s grave, Swifties creating racist memes just bc of a list, and making disgusting incest jokes about Billie and her brother. This is all becoming the norm and we need to call it out for what it is…MENTALLY ILL! Also: did y’all see that what happened between Doja when she hosted a meet and greet for her fans, and her team kicked out an overzealous fan and he lost his mind. Writing letters, making long post and spiraling out? 😅
Another trend to die. Mislabeling pop music as a different genre despite non having any of the composition principles that make up the genre or missing the point of it. It also sounds condescending to pop music. Like you can't do genre crossing without spotify going "alt indie weirdo sadcore".
The bridges need to come back yes! I need songs to be 4 to 5 mins on average again. I was recently listening to an artist and they released a new song that was 4 to 5 mins long and I was so pleasantly shocked because I'm so used to artists just making tiktok music. I don't have much against tiktok music but it gets to brainrot territory most times
Omg I was hearing cowboy Carter and tell me why the best tracks on the album are the ones less than or around 3 minutes? I would die for something like flamenco which is 2 MINUTES, or rose of 1 MINUTE to replace other longer tracks. Most of my favorite artists too are doing their shortest tracks yet in their newer albums.
I agree with the joking point so much, I hate that nowadays you basically have to be good at jokes or joke almost constantly to be liked or even listened to or you'll be called too stiff, honestly I feel tired of trying to be funny all the time, yet I feel that's what's expected of me and others
I personally would like to hear more songs with bridges that are between the second verse and second chorus (or second pre-chorus and choruses) or maybe even between the third verse and the third chorus (or third pre-chorus and choruses) that we've had at one certain period of time. It's certainly more engaging and captivating than when bridges happen between the second and final choruses which is so, so overused.
The thing sbout ai is soo true…. A sub-issue from standom, setting up your fav which then leads to them getting serious hate for nothing. Although I guess that's more to do with engagement farming. 2 minute sings were common during punk/New Wave such as I only wanna be with you by The Tourists, but yes at least 3mins is more pleasing.
The trend that I want to be left in 2024 is 50 part series on short form platforms. TikTok specifically. The app supports long form videos now. I don’t need “why I left my boyfriend part 28” when it all could have fit in 1 video. Creators are milking content and it’s annoying.
8:40 thank you so much for saying this, especially when artists are starting to use artificial intelligence to generate their album covers (nicki minaj and paris hilton)
"Not Everything Has to be a meme" I agree, as soon as Liam Payne died, everyone started memeing his death which is disrespectful as shit to both him and his family/friends who are still greiving. I'm not even a 1D fan but it pisses me off that people think that's funny. "AI Art" Ai in General needs to go. "Sped Up version of Songs" i hate it when they just flat out ruin good songs 😢.
omg!!! I agree so much with the catching preds trend. I’ve always felt like some of the ppl doing it are secretly into it, like they love cosplaying as a minor in a situation like that and some just literally doing it for views and don’t care.
One thing I noticed from this year is that people are feeling way to comfortable saying the r-slur. Seeing and hearing that word feels like the 2000's all over again, and I wish it stayed there as I hated it back then and obviously still do; this is ableism being normalized. There are far more appropriate expressions to convey oneself's feelings in things where one doesn't agree about certain topics or opinions. I entirely preceive it as this society going through a state of regression, with the way that backward term is casually used. Another is the normalization of ageism; both towards young and old people. Children tend to get dismissed as nothing but pure annoyance or seen as a glorified accessory for older people and certain (future) horrible parents to be used for their own gain. And older people tend to get worse out of it because of aging. Do older people forgot that they were once kids too? And do younger people realize they're not gonna stay young forever? (And even claiming that many will "off" themselves if they get to a certain age, which is alarming in its own right). It's bizarre to witness this along with them shooting themselves in their foot at the end of the day. Edit: Oh, another thing that needs to be booted out by 2025 are those degrading "pop the red balloons" dating vids. It's for the most part embarrassing and it shows that most people who participates on those videos don't have self-esteem and doesn't have any ounce of respect towards potential partners they want to date. Lastly, not everything needs to be turn into a damn, mediocre movie (I'm watching you Disney/Hollyweird).
I feel like a lot of young people just see the movements against these actions like fatphobia or ableism as "being too sensitive" or a way to become edgy and cool, since they're exposed to the ways those movements been co opted by companies for profit, or extreme parts that are pushed out by the algorithm, without really understanding why it was necessary to talk about these topics, and how hard it was for previous generations, for example, millennials and the 2000s beauty standards and Tumblr ED promotion.
@Njirimara I think so too. It's definitely a part of the edgy bandwagon, however it isn't just young people who uses it. It's also people way into their 30's who, most probably, used in the 2000's so liberally when they were kids/teens, and now use this as an excuse for said "sensitive generation". It doesn't help that a lot of people, be it young or old, don't bother to research why such terms are associated to bigotry. And why should they? As long as they think it doesn't harm them personally, they will use it. It's a vicious cycle.
We need to bring back spaces kids can’t access easily. This isn’t so much of a trend now so much as a dead one I think should be brought back, but I think a lot of stuff that should be left in 2024 is a product of too many kids on social media. I don’t mean teens. I mean literal children. I had unfettered access to the internet since 11, but until recently, it’s felt like a place for teens and adults. We can’t turn the clock back bc the social, legal and technological landscape are just so different now, but I think there needs to be more effort from the adults to curate spaces and platforms to make that easier.
Sabrina waited sooo long for such success she isn't holding back, she is well aware of what sells.. she can definitely thank Taylor for such support and guidance to spite Olivia Rodrigo 👀.

With the predator baiting videos, I definitely agree. I also think we shouldn’t normalize everyday civilians being able to hand out justice. Don’t get me wrong, pedophiles and predators deserve it but we already barely trust police officers and law enforcement. If we normalize it now, what can stop someone from taking it farther and moving outside the scope of just pedophiles? Mixing people that will do anything for views and the inherent bias that some people have against certain groups of people, I don’t see that going well.
I agree so much on your poptimism take! Some of the most milktoast pop albums are getting 80+ Metacritic scores because publications are scared of Stan Twitter backlash.
The only reason why I’m scared to get old is cause I’m scared to die, and aging I feel like I’m closer to death 😅 sounds silly as I now I need help but I’m working on it 😊
6:53 THIS IS WHY I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR CELEBRITIES!! I used to feel empathy about the parasocial relationship, especially seeing Chappel Roan struggle and the reception to her, but some of these people really bring in onto themselves. Ariana Grande said she had “mean fans” when talking about criticism she got online and to conflate haters and fans signals to her audience that anything remotely negative said about her is mean and hateful. It’s why we have the entire internet glorifying her body and shaming anyone for expressing concern. It’s not about respecting people because those same individuals will call anyone that disagrees with them “fatty” the first chance they get, it’s about loyalty to their favorite celebrity. I’ve seen it on Reddit, twitter, and even in comment sections on TH-cam. Some celebrities are encouraging this absolutism in their supporters and it’s so disappointing. You see the same thing with other musicians who yell at their fans for saying innocuous things like “I don’t like the newest album” or “this old song is still my favorite”. This is not hate, this is barely even negative but they feel attacked and go on the offense which makes fans feel like they can only dickride and anyone who isn’t dickriding is bullied and hated. It’s fucking wild and we need to start holding this celebrities more accountable for how they affect their fanbase. Did Taylor Swift say anything when people were calling Beyoncé racial slurs and photoshopping her head to gorilla bodies on Swift’s behalf because a publication DARED to name her #2 Popstar?! But we still have to act like she cares at all about racial inequality? If she doesn’t want her fanbase to be full of racists she has the power to change that
Ai everywhere needs to fucking go, and those fucking microtrends. I love to see ppl who genuinely have a unique style and outfits but I hate those who just follow a trend and then never wear those clothes again. And resellers oh my fucking god

in regards to the sabrina over sexualization thing it’s more of a misogyny issue. like i don’t see anyone criticizing the weeknd for having songs like “or nah” but as soon as sabrina sings about sex it’s “endangering the youth” society hates when women sexualize THEMSELVES bc they are meant to be sexualized through the male gaze instead
i don't like her music at all but this discourse is ridiculous! she's a whole adult woman and i'm so sick of people moralizing women like Britney, miley, now sabrina. like they're not allowed to grow up?? not their job to self censor, life isn't child friendly.
such a good point you make about hyper sexual male artists.
within rap female artists are often criticized for being too sexual (which is basically the only route to mainstream success) yet male hip hop artists are saying the foulest things on a regular basis and no one bats an eye!
Thank you! It’s always “what about the little girls” but the little boys can consume any media they want because they don’t want to control them the same way they do women. Also, why the hell are these parents taking their children to expensive concerts when the music is in your face sexual!
Yes;!
Maybe we should criticize men more for it instead...? 🤷

I guess if they mean with coping with the subject matter or the idea of it existing in our society but I don’t see how joking about someone else’s hardships can make the individual feel better given the context esp if you haven’t even experienced it yourself
there are three main things that stood out to me for all the wrong reasons this year…
1. making jokes about diddy/baby oil
2. the beyonce hate train
3. parasocial relationships with artists

The Beyonce hate train valid tho
@@tajsimms8976 it’s not actually
Can we also leave in 2024 loving on an underrated artist one minute then once they actually breakthrough, an unnecessary hate train is formed?!!! I’m seeing twitter do this with my fave Doechii right now & it’s so irritating
That's been happening forever. Green Day and the Black Eye Peas are examples of alternative artists that were launched into mainstream just bc the music was so good. But their fans called them sellouts
I love Doechii so much, but since some of her songs blew up and she's been collabbing everyone suddenly wants to be a bitch
@@BombshElle_7 To be fair, Green Day are fake punks with fake accents, and BEP are indeed sellouts haha. Before Fergie joined the group, their music was nicely experimental, then they turned into a mediocre pop-hop factory.

@@anngulliver5964 lol. Tell us you don't know what socialism is without telling us you don't know what socialism is.

agree. popular music is so bad these days (sorry, it is.) because people praise mediocrity. and pop music was not good this year regardless of what people may say, it was just as bad as it has been for years now
This is a very difficult subject because give me a definition of good music that will encapsulate every genre and lyrical theme?

6:45 Love Taylor, thought TTPD was one of her poorest bodies of work. The shock and HORROR people have.
I LOVE ttpd, but still I recognize the many shortfalls of the album, you can love something and recognize the good and the bad, the whole situation with billboard rankings makes me feel kinda icky about the fandom now, for some the fact that Taylor has done mistakes is for them a "way" to attack their face in stan wars, the fact that Taylor can be number 2 sometimes doesn't mean that it's great that Taylor is so great she's with the tops, it means that someone is occupying a place Taylor "should've" had, which is an attack on her
Problem is that album is too large not counting the different versions. Album should have been cut
Reminds me of Moana 2’s dubbing in Brazil, as they used many internet slangs that most of the general public don’t understand
Fake products made by AI, I see this on FB all the time especially with Pop Tarts and Lays

Trend that needs to be left in 2024 imo: calling Nightcore "sped up version" just call it what it is... it's NIGHTCORE
And it’s not “slowed + reverb” IT’S DAYCORE
People don’t care about the victims when a predator get exposed they only just make jokes about it like every single time …
I completely agree, especially with extremist stans a good example is Swifties getting mad at people for listening to Taylor’s early work.
Yeah it's really getting out of hand

7:05 There's a reason why Eminem's song "Stan" was used in a negative connotation.
Just like the Neptunes in the 2000s
I never heard the phrase “No Diddy”before watching this video and will probably forget about it tomorrow

"AI Art" Ai in General needs to go.

Edit:
Oh, another thing that needs to be booted out by 2025 are those degrading "pop the red balloons" dating vids.
Speaking of which, "Hollyweird" is another term that needs to go. It IS weird, to be sure, but that term is _soooooo_ overused.
@@MomLAU I personally think is fitting, hence the term. Overused or not.
To spite Olivia Rodrigo??
Taylor is an adult now. Grow up people don't take sides on petty beefs.
If this comment isn’t the gospel then idk what is 💅@shikazh5139
@@Mtv20O1 yes you read it right

Dang I've been watching martial arts stick figures since I was a kid back in 2006. Glad to see those haven't gone out of style.
you finally ate with this.
Love all the little edits in this! So cute, lol🧡
Stanning Politicians
Trying to get people to vote for you candiate by claming the other guy is worse.
I honestly came across your TH-cam channel by accident by trying to figure out what Gracie had said abt timothee from ur drama video abt her and now I actually love ur videos and can’t stop binge watching , your videos bring back a TH-cam that I haven’t had in a whiles they make me feel comfortable and happy it’s makes me feel like 2020 / 2021 🤍🤍
Blind devotion for anything or anyone. Everything is deeply flawed, and by pretending otherwise only drives a bigger wedge in society and humanity in general.
I never saw that predator trend. Must be a tiktok thing.
its more popular on twitter and live streaming
I couldn’t agree more with over sexualizing young women in music videos.
For real! Sped up and slowed should end and it doesn't fit on most song! It's so boring that I have to come on TH-cam and change back to normal version while I'm enjoying my music
we need to stop talking about people’s bodies and the waves of hate trains. it’s so weird how people can be adored and berated within the same week. it’s so toxic
The "Kat Williams said 2024" is do overused.. what are you guys going to use next year ?
Tik tok needs to go forever
Trust me it won't . As there are as many stupid people as ants, TikTok will thrive.
@asosyalpicimamk we banned it in India 5 years ago.
@@akashvalsan6609I hate TikTok so much, but I think TikTok problems aren't exclusive and is in general a social media problem, if TikTok goes that just means youtube shorts is gonna have a field day
We can only dream of that happening
@@Kingofthenet2 As long as there are stupid people TikTok won't go, even if it goes, another platform will come.
Taylor and Sabrina are both so cringe and played out at this point, please let’s leave them behind in 2024.
We leaving the diddler and jaguar wright
heavy on jaguar wright she’s insane
Seeing Tate McRae on this thumbnail makes me sad she actually isn’t good anymore. Her old music was better in my opinion
Clickbait thumbnail reaction videos about Such and such "Getting Owned," "Destroyed," "Crashing Out," when the actual content is people having a civil discussion. Those can go on 2024.
Billie eilish, taylor swift, sabrina carpenter fans PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN 2024
the album part…like i LOVE my favorite artist but i’ll be damned if i lie to myself and tell myself that it’s amazing when it’s not and I KNOW he can do better
The only reason why I’m scared to get old is cause I’m scared to die, and aging I feel like I’m closer to death 😅 sounds silly as I now I need help but I’m working on it 😊
the "no diddy" thing really upsets me and i think it greatly stunted lgbtq acceptance, particularly in the blk community
If she doesn’t want her fanbase to be full of racists she has the power to change that
honestly the biggest take from this is that taylor swift and her fans suck ass
Early ganggggg❤❤😩
Ai everywhere needs to fucking go, and those fucking microtrends. I love to see ppl who genuinely have a unique style and outfits but I hate those who just follow a trend and then never wear those clothes again. And resellers oh my fucking god
Bring back Critical Thinking and Nuance. Those are becoming dying arts.
A trend i think we should leave in 2024 is the trend of hating on Taylor Swift just to be cool and literally for no other reason like what you do always on your channel
