As much as I love Hokuto no Ken, this fight was so ridiculous (in a good way). Them slowly inching over towards that wall never fails to crack me up. It’s like the writer had this grand idea of them breaking through a wall while fighting but had no idea how they were to get there. Haha.

I always felt he should have been the final villain in this time skip, he's very different from the majority of the enemies as he's got an air of sophistication and an indifference to the attempted assassinations against him that the others lacked. As a kid was was genuinely frustrated with how much everything felt recycled from the first series but Han was the exception along with Ein who was likable enough. Plot wise we instead we ended up with shallower Raoh 2.0 who was utterly boring to me. Then there is Kenshiro's bother who is a hollowed husk plot idea as if he's a Toki stand in who may also been amazing and seemed to have a bond with Han, but instead was practically used more as a plot device instead of a genuine character with any real depth. Even Rei had a lesser cloned character here while Falco should have stuck around much longer and instead was wasted so early on.
@@vguyver2 In my humble opinion the "second season" (after Raoh's death) has better fights, but the plots are much weaker in my opinion. And since the Han's saga is just "let's face Han and fight straight for three episodes" it becomes one of the best. I also enjoyed a lot the Hio's saga, while the Gento fighter have so many cool techniques, but almost no personality, and that's a shame. "Raoh's brother" is one of the worst plot twist in the saga, at least the fight was cool. Despite all of this, I grew with this anime and I still absolutely love it.
@@vguyver2 fist of the north star was meant to end with raoh but as it happens with many mangas, it was too popular to end it so they made them keep going for another 2 years, the three arc they didnt adapt in the anime, while not bad they felt so out of place after the final fight with kaioh, the final bad guy is just some random dude that survived kenshiro's hokuto shinken and its looking for revenge.
To be fair, the Imperial Fist had anti Shinken techniques, and all the main villains in Asura were masters of Hokuto Ryuken, which was similar enough that they could anticipate or remedy having points struck. And Kenshiro does ultimately win this fight thanks to pressure points.

It really sucks how this is a so much better fight scene than the final battle between Kenshiro and Kaioh where he pretty much executes the latter rather than going out in an awesome fight like this.
the first kaioh fight won by much to kenshiro, in the second it started being a couple, then kenshiro began to dominate since he knew his weaknesses and how to counteract kaioh attacks

アニメのこのシーンメチャクチャ好き BGMも最高だし魔闘気を使わない羅将ハンとケンシロウがほぼ互角の闘いだったのも素晴らしかった😊
拳法の闘いと言うよりはむしろプロレス だがそれがいい
北斗の拳には珍しく悲しい過去とか愛とか関係ない、純粋に戦いを楽しんでいる感じがあって第2部の中で1番好きな戦い。

Quite frankly, I believe that this is an accurate depiction of Freddie Mercury's abilities.
