Celinha and life with Alzheimer's

Recorded in September 2021, in Salvador-Bahia, Celinha's testimony tells her journey since her diagnosis of Alzheimer's, at the age of 60 years.
Today, at 68, Célia Maria de Oliveira shares her experience of the first signs of the disease, the delay in getting a diagnosis and the effects of the progression of dementia on her life and relationships.
It also demonstrates the self-care strategies she adopted and the way she currently lives, collecting memories and honoring the affection and love that will always be present in her trajectory.
The documentary Celinha is produced by Febraz for the World Awareness Month on Alzheimer's Disease. In 2021, the campaign highlights the importance of clinical diagnosis of dementias, in an adequate time.
