David Byrne has fascinated me since my teens. A whole crowd of friends watching MTV, loudly laughing eating. Then......Talking Heads video starts to play Once in a Lifetime video. 20 people in the room. 19 continue talking and then there is Me!! I'm floored! He has my Daddy's glasses, He didn't look like everybody else and certainly didn't sound like anything I've ever heard!👍

Would love to see Talking heads i never got to see them live.
I feel....and even the band felt ....that the "innovative music videos" bolstered BYRNE'S popularity and notoriety ...but it back-lined the band. The first write up I saw in a audio magazine for "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" was 5 times as long as any Talking Heads album review.
+martianshoes BTW - Byrne looks amazing....he has aged incredibly well..
interviewers are weird, uncomfortable, and inept; they ask poor questions, founded completely on money and not at all on artistry...
pretty crappy interview ....he needed more time and less interviewers......
