I really liked this format of talking while hiking best! I’m so glad I filmed this trip and had all these thoughts to look back on. It makes me want to get out there again
I came here to listen to your story, see the scenery, and most importantly, to see the performance of the Rei Coop Flash Air 50 Backpack. I notice the bag looks a bit bulky. Did you fill it to its maximum capacity?
I think the Flash Air preformed excellent! I had no issues with the pack on trail. I did have it filled to the max. I think REI recommends the pack for loads of 25 pounds or less. I had this pack around 32 pounds my entire trip and had no issues. I was even able to fit my BV500 in the pack. Hope that helps. Happy to answer any questions on the pack. I’m Impressed
I'm in the final stages of making a decision to buy this bag. I've considered many things from several of your other videos. The price here also makes sense because there's a significant discount. The final consideration is the durability of the material. I live in Indonesia where the mountains are covered with dense vegetation. I'm worried that this material might be at risk of tearing when it comes into contact with branches. Please help me with your perspective on this.
@@hi.kingharry I really like this pack. I think the padding on the back is better than other packs in this weight class and price point. The material was great. I was in the forest and hit a couple trees with no punctures or issues at all. Also, REI has a great policy. For example if you buy this pack and then get a hole in it on your backpacking trip you can return it to REI within a year. If you're not completely sold on this pack, check out the Shadowlight from Outdoor Vitals. I have that pack too and it's been my favorite pack for a couple years. alnk.to/5Fbf1Ex Shadowlight is also $100 less!
Trail thoughts… being out there gives a moment to reflect. Thank you for sharing. 🏕️
