thank you for bringing us along. after i watched, i checked out my (same) generator and found it has this issue. i am not shocked that there is no apparent recall for this issue.
Thanks for your nice info-clip, I'll check my generator (which has only run @ 1,000 rpm for an hour to do the first oil change) and see if it has the same little problem. Looks like you have a few nice 'toys' in your shop - take care and try to stay out of trouble!
Clutch! I took mine apart and saw the same scrape mentioned in that spot. Barely hit it with an angle grinder and took just enough off to leave 1/32" gap. Ty!

I bought a new one that was damaged at harbor freight for $500. All i had to do was take off a black vent a beat it straight which took all but 10 min
Thanks for posting
Good Tip!
Great tip!
I have the same unit, but I was wondering why is there a fuel line going from the tank to the air filter? Mine is leaking fuel out of that hose.
Wow thanks, just got mine last week. I've searched for alot of tips, I'd like to add a fule line filter, do you think that's possible?
My predator 9000 has a black wire hanging over pull starter
Not a problem if you converted to propane. Good to know though.
