@@deionsmith4959 Malta ,most people that live there have been there for generations! My family homesteaded north and south ,Sleeping Buffalo hot springs is between Saco and Malta ,My grandmother ran it for 10 years ,family farm was south of here,Nelson reservoir is great fishing, if you can handle mosquitoes!
Thanks for the tour of your beautiful state. I do love the views. Grain elevators are nice to see. I remember the one from the village, where I was born in Alberta. I love the country, as I'm originally from a very large farm. I hope I can visit your state in the future. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers! ✌️🎄🎁⛄
I'll be contacting you in a year or so to start searching for offgrid nw Montana property. Thank you for Time and good information you put out in your videos
You made a major mistake when you said that Wolf point is the headquarters for the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. The headquarters is located in Poplar which in about 22 miles East of Wolf Point on Hwy 2. You also could have gone North from Glendive through Sydney and then to Culbertson on Hiway2 then East as you did.
Nice entertaining video, but it kind of shortchanges eastern Montana. People will think the whole east side is flat prairie. If you went through SOUTHeastern Montana you find a lot of much more attractive scenery... hills, badlands, rivers, rocky bluffs, etc. mixed in with lots of similar small towns, and the bigger cities are added into the mix. (Billings, Bozeman, Missoula). Also shooting a video in the summer would be a good idea to catch some greenery.
Do folks get lonely in such small towns? I have watched movies depicting those high prairie winds, snow blowing literally sideways at 50 or more Mile Per Hour. Those months you illustrated, thats longtime of bitter cold. How are medical emergencies handled? Or do retired folks move to more populated areas of the state?
I live outside of town on a ranch and I love it. I guess it depends on your personality some personalities can't handle that much isolation. The cold doesn't bother me, you get used to it and learn to stock up so you don't have to go out in a blizzard. Medical emergencies can be a little challenging but there is fairly good community support in most areas and Glasgow and Havre have fairly large hospitals with some smaller hospital/clinics and some nursing homes in the smaller towns, but a lot of old time farmers/ranchers just stay on the homestead and work until they drop, no retirement.
Great video! I appreciate the hard work you put into this. The footage is beautiful!
Eastern Montana has beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Beautiful open spaces go on forever.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW A LOT MORE ABOUT MALTA PLEASE 🤔

We follow part of this route when headed from Michigan to Lewistown to visit family. I always feel like I'm home when I pass that Montana sign!
Great video. Thank you... Keep them coming!
We took US 2 out of Duluth to Haver before turning south to Great Falls 23 years ago this past Sept. Great trip.
Love eastern Montana. Hunted there a few times, best hunting of my life. Actually hunted out of Cirle
What were you hunting there? Whitetails or something else?
Thank you. Enjoyed your presentation.

Have you done anything regarding central Montana like Choteau or Augusta and the Bob Marshall?
How far is Glasgow from Fort Peck Lake? Is there places to stay?

Everything you show in your videos looks like it was either built in the 1800s or yesterday.
