My TTM Authentication Return Order From Beckett Grading Services - Are They Real???

- I got back my 11 TTM autograph submission from Beckett Grading Services and wanted to share the results with all of you. Let me know what you think.

Yeah im a huge Beckett fan myself. I only go with PSA when I'm trying to sell usually.
I have that same Jerry Jones autographed picture. I'll have to do a video and show you the autograph. I have several items autographed from Jerry Jones. I hope at least one is the real deal.

I was really bummed because that was one of the items I was looking forward to having authenticated. I'll see what PSA has to say abut it. A video of your Jerry Jones autos would be great.
In the end, it's just someone opinion. I submitted 10x items to PSA DNA and one came back fake they said. What they didn't know was that I got that "fake" item signed IP / In-person so I know it's 100% real! I'm still pissed they stole my $10 by not passing it.
You are 100% correct. That's why I sent the Jerry Jones in a couple of times and keeps coming back fake. It does suck that you lose the money but I guess you pay for the entire service.
The Jerry World autograph is probably autopen...he is a billionaire and the cowboys are the largest sports team in the world. A LOT of those are going out the door every day...
A lot have gotten authenticated autos this way from him that's why I was shocked.
I got a Barry Bonds autographed rookie card back, that I literally watched him sign it back in 88, and he was nice of enough to sign it. I think it goes by what the cost of what the item would be, because some of these things you have would be over a few Gs. That Jerry Jones in a custom designed frame, would be worth a few Gs. Sorry for loss of your father, GOD Bless his soul my friend.

It sure was even though I was hoping for 100% authentication rate but oh well. We will see what PSA says about them.

Yeah thats why I put these videos out for other TTMers to see. Now I've been doing group submissions so more of us are sending in so we can see authentic/non authentic. Thanks for checking this video out.
Does Beckett authentication, provide a tracking number when they send out items? Because I received an email saying it was shipped but that’s it no updates through process or anything..
Yes they do. I have always received a tracking number when they email me letting me know an item has shipped. It usually takes 3-4 days for it to get to my home.
Well at least we know we are getting real Autographs through the Mail. Except the 2!
Yeah I'm glad to know they are mostly real. Like I said the Jerry Jones seems real to me that's why I'm tempted to send them both to PSA.
Very cool. I was thinking about trying some baseball and other stuff to get authenticated but don't know how to send in.
It's not that hard to do. It's pretty much print out the form and follow the directions on the form. Pack them up and ship them in.
@@brandonstebbins7242 How do I find the value of the auto? Most would be on index cards and nobody big just political people. Like Senators or Governors. Also how would I ship them?
@@chrisgraphs1015 both BGS and PSA have a look up database for the cost of each auto. So you'd look up whomever you're sending in and the price that comes up is your cost. To ship the index cards any case or sheet protectors will work. Just sandwich them in between cardboard for extra protection. Also there are added fees like return shipping and oversize if your items are big in size.

Hard to say if you should resubmit. That part of the hobby is so expensive -- it just depends on how important those two items are to you. I'm not very helpful.
Well if I was going to pay full price I'd say no but I'm only considering it because of the 50% off sale. I'm actually doing this more for my daughter than anything else and also to see how authentic TTM returns are. My own curiosity.

Hate to say it but I agree, there’s a clear black point at the end of the Jones auto which is indicative of autopen. Got one back from Bill Gates with same issue. 😞

Great catch Michael. The cost for card breakdown including shipping, insurance, oversize fee for 2 items, and per auto fee it was a total of $17 per card.
Do they slab the items or do you have to select encapsulation?

So what is the "premier autograph" thing about that Beckett charges more for? I understand it's a fee they charge on the "most valuable" autograph, but what business is it of theirs what the value of any autograph is? Just use your expertise to make a determination no matter what the item is.
Yeah the top grading companies all charge their fee based off of the auto. So what you'd pay for a Mark McGwire is different than a Babe Ruth. I can understand both sides. Yeah just authenticate the autograph for the same price across the board so you don't do anything different. However in the case of a Babe Ruth the chances of it being sold and scrutinized by many experts goes up so I can see why they ask for more as well. It just is what it is.

I love your work and your content on autographed Beckett submissions, I have been collecting sports cards since 1978 and I never really tried TM autographed cards, I have to learn more about the subject my friend. Around how long does it take them to check in your order?
Usually they check them in within 2-3 business days of receiving it.

@@turnerthegoat6422 I get emailed from Beckett and keep everyone in the submission informed on how it's going as I find out. I also send tracking numbers to everyone anytime the cards are in transit anywhere. However the items that are submitted only show up on my account not each individuals accounts.
@@brandonstebbins7242 Yeah I was just asking because I just sent out a card and It got there today. I just can’t see a sub on my account or an email.
@@turnerthegoat6422 oh I gotcha. So yeah they should email you when they log it in and once you get that email it will show up in your account.

At the time I got him through the Giants address but those are getting RTSd now. I recently tried a Mississippi address for him but haven't gotten anything back yet.

i got my poster authenticated spent 150 for over 21 autographs and on the coa they only wrote 3 peoples name? is that correct or is something wrong i did it at the card shop where beckeet was at
I would assume they would list all the names on the COA. It only makes sense they would do that. If I were to buy it and only saw 3 names I might think those are the only authentic ones. You know?

@@King_Of_Random_Vlogz that is a lot of money my friend. You might want to reach out to their customer service and talk with someone about it. If it was an oversight im sure they will make it right.
How can I get in on a submission with you?
Each month I put out a video with the submission details. My contact info are in those videos. March's should be out sometime next week.
Did you just send to the stadium for Eli? Im a giants fan so would love to get him back. I just see the stadium address for him on SCF, wondering if there is another?
Yeah I sent them to the stadium to get signed but I will say I sent them in the middle of 2017. I got them back like in 17 days.

The Jerry Jones does not look authentic at all in my humble opinion.
Yeah I think most if not all that are being sent out are fakes at this point.

How long does it usually take to get autographs back from BGS? i have a Jerry Garcia 8x10 I want to send in
So for me the last 6 months on the group submissions I've been doing have averaged 5-7 week return.
@@brandonstebbins7242 do you think a single submission would be longer?
@@Jonfishman5624 I haven't heard them taking any longer for single submissions so I would assume it would be the same range.
