Your neighbors must LOVE you 😊 Congrats to Ben on that smooth grabN go- his 1st ever?? Looked like a seasoned pro from here! Cant wait to see a Wizard-level bush conversion on the T28 via PCBWay soon. And your P47 is gorgeous! What a beautiful model 👍 Awesome video! Thanks, gents!
Spotlight flying is some of the best fun I’ve ever had. It’s great when you have 2-3 people with spotlights following it. If they’re paying attention your visibility is fantastic. Even more fun with helis.
Look up “F3P VPP”. indoor pattern guys do it with variable pitch propellers. The reversing rotation thing kinda works but not very well. Slow transition from slowing to a stop and starting again the other direction. Variable pitch like a helicopter tail rotor gets you the quick smooth transition.
My first RC plane is on its way to me in the mail Cessna 182 1410 mm wingspan, then such films are very useful. You must have a lot of experience when you fly like that in the garden in the backyard. Thank you very much.
Just finished building a foam spit-fire! Gonna maiden it once the weather is nicer, and hope that I don't immediately send it straight into the ground!
Perfect timing! Just had a ball today with my red dog and rough made 1m span lazy bee! I fitted a dualsky 700kv 3548 30e power plant this morning with a 12x6 prop, it’s way overpowered now! Even Only on 4s 2200mah! It used to run a 3512 and 9x6prop or 2818 and 10x4.5 prop and had adequate power for its floppy foam construction but now it’s just silly! And although is heavier and the larger motor twist’s the fuselage it’s bigger prop has great initial torque and braking ability! My poor dog is worn out from chasing it all day too!
My UMX Radian is the only plane with as much down thrust as that Flex-wing twin. Hand toss 'er! Also, that Cow plane has a Turbo Timber wing. Put a bigger horizontal tail and it'll be a better performer.
If you have a spare channel on your receiver, you could set it up so that a rocket facing backward ignites when you hit a switch, making it stop very quickly.. And then travel backward for 20 more seconds.. LOL! A more reasonable idea, disc brakes on the mains.
@@tb_fpv4379 Thank you. With my lousy flying skills, any plane can get damaged but the nice thing about TH airplanes is they are easy to repair if/when I ding them.
@@andrzejwykreowanipl9874 I assumed by the flying it was Cody W. Think that's the 1st time I've seen him on camera, as the camera is usually pointed out whatever he is flying.
Refactory shop too? Hey Cody! Since I can speak to the master himself 😅 can you suggest another model to replace crack yak? Seriously - it’s a perfect mashine for learning (I’ve learned more with it in one year than with all my models in 5) but it’s soo beaten up that the front is mostly made out of glue not foam any more. I have revolto and geebee also but always - yak is more on the floatier and just more pleasent side
Can you make a video about motor brakes please? I don't know if FunCub NG needs it or not? Thanks ! EDIT: Also 12:58 - ''OH MY GOD it's better than the Timber'' is soo funny!🤣
I can tell from the clips that the problem with Ben's twin is not incidence or thrustline, but simply angle of attack. His gear is too low. Give the craft a healthy dozen of degrees nose up when resting on the ground, and it won’t need nearly as much ground roll. Very common pitfall; even Robbe overlooked that prerequisite when designing their start dolly, so he’s in good company.
It sure was! Hence raising the incidence of the wing in order to attain a higher AOA on the ground roll (just a different way to skin the cat as opposed to raising the gear).
@@TailHeavyProductions Except the incidence route will increase drag and inherent pitch stability if you leave the stab untouched. But the furry guy did not seem to welcome 3D efforts anyway, so why not?
@@TailHeavyProductions I know, my seriousness was tongue in cheek. And who doesn't love a good ground roll? That's the business idea behind Indianapolis 500, after all.

Does the Jabberwocky need electronics to be bought separately?

I should laugh, as I can’t build a plane from scratch. But that homemade plane had me giggling like a schoolgirl 😂 Thank you!

Can you add some lead aft of the CG to try and stop the noseovers?
That's a band-aid fix - changing the AOA of the wing on the ground and/or the incidence is a more permanent aero solution.
