Wow! What a big difference it makes by curling the petal ends first. This is a great tutorial and the roses are much more realistic this way. I'll have to try this. TFS!!! Karen
Thank you so much :o) I'm glad you like the roses, they are so much fun to make. I haven't seen anyone bending the petals first too yet and I also think that makes them slightly different from other home made flowers.
best lesson I have seen on paper roses. Beautiful!
Leonie, great tutorial! Love the flowers...you did a great job showing us how to make them! Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Christy
Lovely roses and great tutorial, same for me, love making flowers but haven't tried bending the petals back. Giving it a try today and if they look like yours I'll be so pleased. Thanks for sharing this, brilliant.

Thank you so much for watching Lyn :o) it's so fun to make your own flowers and the good thing is : they hardly cost any money (just some cardstock) and you can make them in any color you like / need :D.
Hugs, Leonie.

beautiful just gorgeous! TI love howhey look so realistic! i love how they look!
Beautiful..I just love your work:) and your humbleness...
Groetjes, Leonie.
You make such beautiful roses Leonie!! Hugs, Sue
thank you sweetie for doing the tutorial. I used the same punch to make mine but the difference is the folding of the edges and how it makes a bug difference in design. thx

Thanks for watching :o) and please let me know how yours came out :D.
Groetjes Astrid
Thanks for watching Lori :o)
The flowers you make look just the same as those ready-made ones like Iamroses! I already have a Sizzix flower die and i don't want to spend moreover on the punch. Do you think if I can use the die instead?
Very helpful tutorial. Leonie, what glue gun is that with a fine tip?
Thank you Sonia :o)
Thank you so much for watching :o)
I tried doing the large one but my last three flower layers are laying a lot flatter than yours. They are really seperated from the first three layers. How do you get the flower to look so tight? I don't have that flower conditioner thing that you mentioned but I tried to condition them with the end of a paint brush. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
Thank you for watching :o)
Thank you so much :o) I'm glad you like it.
Thank you for watching :o)
