You’re talking about oil tankers manufactured out of iron or steel, constructed with ballast compartments and other modern engineering. the 14000 years ago remark is way off the mark - ice age ice caps melted slowly and modern salvers did not stabilise at present levels until about 5000 years ago. In round figures about 500 feet (c 155m) was how much lower sea level was during the latest Ice Age. It would have been roughly stable for many thousand years before that. So 14,000 years ago would be fine for low sea levels to enable the island to be built.

Much of history was manipulated, either due to ignorance or some political agenda, eg the truth about the "left behind" prisoners on Easter Island, but for the real truths to be exposed in great detail would put the "whistle blower" at personal risk, as I personally found out when my own daughter was abducted just to keep me silent. what part? At 0:05? That is Nan Madol. It's the island and levee system made out of hexagonal basalt.

Okay before I go on, I expect to get some criticism, but I don’t care. To give perspective, I been to Nan Madol many times. I even have stayed on island next to Nan Madol proper that only high status people with permission of nan marki can stay at. I have spent a lot of time talking to elders learning. Now, let me give review of this video and questions. First the people who made this video, how much time did they spend at Nan Madol? Who did they talk to? Why I ask is in video doesn’t give true perspective of how big Nan Madol actually is. Video gave idea that this is completely seperate from island of Pohnpie. Reality is its series of islands that are next to main island of Pohnpie with some of the structures of Nan Madol on dry land of Pohnpie proper. The Video glanced over the stories/legends of Nan Madol. The stories mentioned left out important details. Also there is no mention of the Clan that is caretaker of Nan Madol. The local Pohnpians take pride in place but same time it’s sacred. They know who built it talking pride in going over their genealogy and mentioning their ancestors who helped with construction. They also know where rocks were quarried. As to how they were moved they talk of using boats but also talk of saying magic prayers to make the stones lighter. What not mentioned is other sites that predate Nan Madol such as Mwelling and Peipas Island. There is no mention of Kahnimweiso. Also why no Mention of Ruins in Kosrae of Lelu Ruins which was still Ruling seat of Island king even after Europeans had frequent stops and trade. It’s simular style as Nan Madol. There is also older MENKAC ruins up in mountains..
Also why no mention of the Tombs
Think is these Ruins are truely Amazing but I this video seems to lack actual knowledge of these sites.
