I want to become a Greyhound bus driver. You are helping me prepare for my training in the future. I'm studying to get my CDLs and Passenger Endorsements.
I drove City buses for 4 years. Now I’m thinking of starting the process of becoming a Greyhound operator. I know all about being an extraboard operator. There are pros to it which I loved.
@ well originally early 2022 ,I did start the process out of phoenix Arizona, but things had to pause. Fast forward, I am currently in Washington DC so I will operate out of there most likely.
@@DaDon702 yes it depends on where you stay. I was in Chicago area and some people stayed out that way and they just drove in to do training and went home after.
I'm thinking applying for that bonus 😂 but I know it's a catch to it. Anyway, how is the training? I've been driving motorcoaches for 20 years, mostly part time. I'm sure you on the road right now. What's the average pay for a driver there starting?
It’s no catch you just will have to go out for training for 2 weeks … it’s not hard if you can understand how to do the log book.. other than that you should have the driving part down packed. As for as the bonus they break it up, you will get your first pay after two weeks of being on the board the rest of it is like every two months you get some of it. You will have the full payout the first year. And the pay is different at every location hourly… what location are you applying for?

It's cool to see more female bus drivers.

What city and state are you from ?? I only asked because one of the girls in another video said that greyhound doesn't allow facial piercing

How is the home time compared to being out on the road
Do they ship you out to a hotel for training? Like away from home? If so sounds cool 😎
