Really good event if you want to try some high end kit, with pedals and wheels from most the large brands there and then crazy rigs for all the Saudi princes that watch this channel.
I was only there for the weekend so missed some of nurdy presentations but I think that side of the show on Thursday and Friday could be good for super hard core sim fans !
I'd also recommend Maastricht its a really nice city to visit , train from London was about 6 hours of travel only bad part is Brussels Midi station 😅 and getting more fat from eating too many waffles in Holland.
GM really is the expo king. Shame he can't get 6k on iracing cause he drives like a granny

Some amazing rigs and equipment. Next we should try get you to Kanaan's sim garage, Matt, Quirk, etc are going for a race/event. Maybe you'll get there next time. Interesting we haven't seen any improvement on wireless keyboards with trackpads since the Logitech 400 which came out 9 ago. I still use mine from time, have tried and returned other brands. Cheers.
Now we need a Sim-Racing convention for the low end & midrange Thx for all the information for rich sim-racers lol

Crazy that they haven't figured out wireless yet. I made a wireless rim with paddle shifters cheaply by soldering a cheap wireless nintendo controller to paddle shifters (3D-printed from thingiverse) that I zip-tied onto a $50 Accuforce rim. I soldered the shifters to the L and R buttons on the wireless snes gamepad. The gamepad is zip-tied to the front of the wheel as a button box. It's rechargeable and no wire.
What kind of battery would they need to drive a powerful force feedback system for a 24 hour race?

As someone who has never used Asetek gear but really wants to. I’m glad you called out the looks of the gear. The look to me just does not seem appealing, but everyone seems to like the performance of the units. If it looked “better” idk, less toyish I guess I would jump all over it.

Lol yah my trainers are wrecked but it was snowing + rain so I didn't want to ware fresh shoes lol and my walking shoes are huge !

Well kinda depends how much you use it lol , but i mean vintage car also has tax advantages but then again simrig can be used to sell products or at events so it depends on context and use as to which ultimetly costs more or less or generates most value to a owner.

Yah , it's called selfie mode on DJI pocket 3 .. only found out about it when I got back. For some reason it's on my default and does the mirror / cam flip I think it's for insecure vloggers that want to look like how they do in a mirror....
