I live in Brazil🇧🇷, here there is no diesel touareg, only gasoline in the v6 or v8 version, I have been dreaming of this vehicle although gasoline here is very expensive, a 2011 is costing around 14 thousand euros, making a conversation. I have faith in God that I will be able to conquer this car, which I think is beautiful, discreet, well finished and of a high standard for the Brazilian streets, wish me luck!

Amigo, eu tenho 1 v6 2011 há 7 anos, amo o carro! Potente, robusto espaçoso. Só manutenção básica (óleo, filtros, pastilhas, borrachas em geral, sensorzinho). Não dá dor de cabeça, só alegria. Tá com mais de 105mkm e não quero vender.

The older Touaregs are underated. All engines they offered are perfect, sounds nice and drives perfectly with high interior quailty.
4.2TDI V8 is my favourite, a small tune on them... with blacked out R-Line exterior and white interior, perfect.
Also way much cheaper to own than Audi Q7 and Cayenne, basicilly same car
No 4.2 on Touareg just on Q7( the older ones)

@@johnsenior6032 there are many reputable repair garages outside Dt Dobie, just get one consistent mechanic who understands the make. That is what I do as much as find information also online on the same.. Touareg is very reliable off-road and on tarmac, just feed it with genuine parts and good fuel

Its limiter, without limiter sure over 230 kmh
Why is this engine detuned for the Touareg? It has 220 kw and 400 nm of torque for Porsche Cayenne.
The v6 TDI and the V6 3.6 is not the same engine. 400 nm of torque is the TDI not the 3.6
@@olivierpelletier5496 The 3.6 FSI is shared by the Cayenne and Toureg. In the Cayenne it has 220Kw and 400NM of torque. For The Touareg its 206KW and 360NM torque. It's a petrol.
The 3.0 TDI is 180 KW and 550NM of torque.
Im not confusing the two engines. I only don't understand the difference in outputs of the 3.6 FSI
@@malandvulamachawe6323 just to differenciate the two brands man, porsche is bound to offer more power in basically the same car since the cayenne is based on the touareg because its just the more premium brand

Der Touareg gefällt mir nach wie vor sehr gut.
Der Motor ist leider (zumindest auf deutschen Straßen) relativ sinnfrei, die sind schon zu recht so gut wie gar nicht mit dem 3.6er verkauft worden.
Trotzdem ein sehr interessantes Video.
Ist auch mit dem 3l Diesel nicht zu vergleichen, obwohl er mehr Leistung und mehr Hubraum hat

Mehr Leistung und mehr Hubraum, dafür fast in jeder Lebenslage höchstens gleich schnell, eher langsamer, und Verbrauch wie ein ganz großer. 😅
@@lofthousehh sind halt auch gute 200Nm Drehmoment weniger, als beim Diesel

Yes, the gasoline is a little bit slower. In Germany is the Touareg FSI real rare, all bigger Offroad, Pickups, SUV are Diesel.

Eigentlich fast auf ganze welt wird mehrheitlich bei privatfahrzeuge meist mit benziner gefahren, sonst ist glaub nach meine Kenntnisse das Europa und Indien bei privatfahrzeuge mit viel diesel verkauft worden ist

Für amerikanische Straßenverhältnisse ist der Motor nicht verkehrt. Und Diesel spielen nunmal fast ausschließlich in Deutschland überhaupt eine signifikante Rolle.
0-200 - YES. This Touareg is too heavy for this engine.
That's, why the bigger Offroad, SUV's and Pickups in Germany are Diesel. 2,2t weight and Gasoline is sorry......! You need 400-500HP with Gasoline.
