Jenkins always plays his favorites over better players. Remember, we still probably still wouldn't have seen Vince Williams Jr. and GG had it not been for the roster being decimated by injuries. Even though they were always better than guys ahead of them.
I watched Patrick maholmes sprain his ankle twice last night but he just gets tougher. Our grit and grind guys get a surface scratch and it’s off to the body shop for two months.
The problem the fan base has with Laravia is that he is getting played near starter level minutes and not scoring. Sure he’s a solid rebounder and end of bench rotation player but he doesn’t need to be in the closing minutes of the 4th guarding Dennis Schroeder when he’s been cooking us. That’s more on coaching than Laravia but still. If I see that dude keep dribbling the air out the ball then drive in the lane to get stuffed by 3 defenders and barely able to pass out of it ima lose my mind…
He's Jenkins pet obviously, i don't understand why he's playing so many minutes hopefully once GG n Vince is back he will be watching from bench and only play he gets is in practice, he does hustle but can't shoot and does stupid stuff with the ball like driving in the lane out of control and turning it over ,
100% agree and he does rebound which I think Jenkins loves because that’s the only thing konchar is good at but keeps getting minutes. At best he’s a ten minute guy.
Jenkins rotation is a problem he rotates fast to keep people fresh for pace over focus on pace is ridiculous, what about playing starters to build chemistry and to gel get into a rhythm and gain momentum, pace is important but so is these things, had he played Eady lot more in first half would have been different game going into hald time
Zach will only get better. Us Purdue fans watched him work, win and turn doubters into fans. Y’all got a great one. #boilerup

🎯 Jenkins has always had favorites and he plays those guys over more deserving, better players.
Facts
Huff is better than Clarke right now 🤷🏻♂️
BC put two really good games together
@ he still solid. Production wise, Huff has been better so far.
Coaching changes usually occur before the head coach is relieved. Maybe Jenkins has reached his peak with the Grizzlies. I think his seat is warm.
The story of Memphis struggles from 3s and there inability to prevent the oppositions 3s have been going on for 3 years now
Dennis Schroeder definitely grizz killer #1
Jake hustles but hes not good at shooting and gets too many minutes hope it changes when injured plyers get back

Meanwhile PG plays 30+ mins his first game back smh
And he'll be on the IL by the end of the month.
Just saw Luke is questionable. Ramp greased! Assuming health, Huff would be great for 9 minutes a night. Ja PnR, get up 4 or 5 three's.
