if you grind down one of the 1.4 liners you have you can make a tool to drive out the old liners. you have to take out the crank though. I used to use the 1.4 liners because they are thicker, you have to cut the sides out to clear the block. You will see what I mean if you haven't worked it out already. Cant wait to see it finished.
Ah man if only i knew before i got rid of the 1.4 block! Having a issue getting them out but gonna heat them and see if that makes it easier 👍 wont be long now hopefully!
@@houseofmods @HouseOfMods other way is to cut a piece of hard wood to shape drive it out with a hammer, if you are replacing them you could weld a bar across the top and slide hammer them out. just remember to check the deck height when its back together, you may need some liner shims.
@@houseofmods mint , look forward to it, going to go through your collection over the weekend, just in the throws of building an almera, 5 door, crap but cool ftw 🏁

What pistons will you be running this time round ? 160 again or k turbo pistons and do you run 160 liners as well or ductile
Im going to be running turbo pistons with stock liners should be all good!
@@houseofmods ah awesome mate, how did you find the 160 pistons?
@@Jamie-mn9hk they were perfectly fine, was my fault it all went wrong so not the pistons to blame
