Daiwa Certate 2024 review! Fishing at Southern Islands Singapore

Alright guys, it has been a long time since I've uploaded a video. Partly due to my PC breaking down and also due to work. Now I am back with a new video, now doing some review on the new Daiwa Certate 2024 5000D
Hit 3 fishes in 3 different islands, St John's Island, Pulau Hantu and Kusu Island. All good eating fishes!

Is there a diff between putting the assist hook on the bottom and putting it on the top of the jig?

Oh yes, usually fishes eat head first. The hook up will still be good! Putting it at the bottom have a higher chance on snagging and also line tangling around the leader line when you put the assist hooks at the bottom. So for me i still prefer to put it on the top

Is thr a diff between using soft plastics and metal jigs?

Soft plastics, distance affected but the hit rate is high. Jigsaw distance is good, sensitivity is good. Depends on situation when you are fishing. Different times use different things.

Actually cheap jigs works as well but maybe the quality check for each and individual items not as good. For the cheaper ones some of the weight differs abit and also the shape may differ.

How manny pound line shld I put if I'm using braided line?

Okay, if you are going by braid measurements then 30lb. If by PE then just use 0.28mm diameter or also same as PE2.5
