  • Not just our favourite electric bike, but actually our very favourite bike ever! This nimble beauty is as thrilling as they come. Thanks to SF MOTO for their generous support. Producer: Searsha Sadek || Editor: Joe Bradley || Presenter & Cameras: Nadim Sadek

    Finally, someone riding responsibly, not like other videos of maniacs cutting cars and people off. The bike also has regen braking.

    Great Video, not because it sold me I am already, but because its all good news that I know to be true. Thanks for the expressive coverage of joy on two wheels.

      Thanks, Dallas. As we think is clear in the review, this is a bike worth getting to know, and it was a joy for us!

    Finally a review which doesn't fall into the classic trap of other reviewers: To apply impossible expectations to an electric bike and then complaining when it doesn't meet them. They want the bike to have the price, range and top speed of an ICE bike, but still keep all the advantages of an electric bike, like instant and abundant torque, zero emissions, low maintenance, super-cheap to ride, quiet, smooth, easy to ride, intuitive, etc. The day that bike exists, anything else is dead!

      @BossBikesClub  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you liked our approach! We've reviewed a few other electrics, too, and it'd be great if you took a look at them.

    This bike looks amazing 😍 awesome that range isn't an issue either, that's what I'm always scared of

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Zero have been smart with their range - they know this is a city bike ready to go larking about with, and its range allows all of that. They also have a variety of charging set-ups that can speed up the 'refill' process if you need it. Thanks for watching!

    N. Great video :))) you can tell you really like the Zero! I’ve got to try out an electric motorcycle (still have an old school sentiment - gears or whatever haha) Editing, script, and views are solid 🤗

    the most important had not been shown... changing and charging the batteries in your flat.

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok! You can do that with the modular batteries, but not all Zeros have demountable batteries you can take 'inside'!

    I need to travel at least 70 miles and dont care about going any faster than 70mph to 75mph. Will this bike make it?

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We're not sure it will, to be honest, as it's got a smaller battery than some of the other bikes in the Zero range, which would do that for you, like the DS

  • @forresttarp3674
    @forresttarp3674 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have one at home and last week I almost smashed it because of the deep hanging feet... when you look carefully you can see its very near to the ground during the driving. With two people you can only drive straight on... otherwise you will scratsch the street... unbeliveble. I had to flex it a bit so it goes more up. Unexeptable. I still like it much, but please people, check it before you sell the bike.

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your observations, Hans. We didn't observe the same issue when we had the bike, but you do make an interesting point. Our only real reservation about the entire Zero range is that it continues to have no safety electronics, especially traction control, which in areas of wet roads, it very strange indeed.

  • @llerradish
    @llerradish 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I have ridden three Zero models and IMO the dash and brakes are more than good enough. If I heard correct, you said you could ride this around town all day on one charge and that is just not true, unless you spend more time taking photo's than riding. I like the Zero and there really only good for round town. They are very fun and easy to ride in town. I would rather have a lower price tag, so more people could afford them. I don't think they need more bells and whistles. Just keep it simple.

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's obviously a completely legitimate perspective. The thing is...we've seen dozens of brilliant electric brands coming - notably, from China. So our thinking is that a premium brand like Zero really needs to nail its proposition - and just being a bike that delivers electric power won't cut it for too long. We think they need to be the leading technological brand, and obvious gaps like the absence of traction control on a machine with enormous torque is a failing. Thanks for watching, in any case!

      I need travel at least 70miles on one charge. Is this possible on these bikes? Dont care going any faster than 70mph.

    Hey - where the Hell is that street car scene?? Wow those overhead lines were UGH-GLEE!!

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Street Car scene is where they turn, in The Castro. Those lines show the history of electrical power propulsion, from another era - so we thought they were very fitting next to the clean-ride Zero! :)

    I keep wondering why Honda are still stuck in "concept bike" mentality and not putting up a line of e motorbikes. When you listen to a Zero bike reporter talk you can see how excited they are and thus how potent this area of motorcycling is!

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We didn't ride it any more 'off-road' than you see in the video. The FXS is a Supermoto, more designed for the road and a bit of larking around. The FX, on the other hand, is an off-road oriented bike - and if it's anything like the FXS, you'll have a blast on it!

    While this was a well made video from a production-value standpoint, you avoided mentioning all the things I watch to a review to learn about; Range-"don't worry about it"... "what kind of animal would this be if it were an animal...?" Come on! If I need spirit-animal advice, I'll go to Buzz-Feed.

    • @BossBikesClub
      @BossBikesClub  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for taking the time to watch our review! As you'll know, there are hundreds of tech-heavy, spec-specific reviews out there. Ours deliberately focus on the experience of riding the bikes and how they seem to us (with a bit of tech-spec included). There's a market for that, as we see from our comments, messages and views. The 'animal' bit is actually the most-often favoured part of our reviews - we even have people compiling lists of bikes by animal comparison now. In any case, your comments are much appreciated and we hope you find time to enjoy more of our reviews in future.
