I just found your podcast. You’re in St Paul! I’m from Minnesota… currently St Peter but lived and grew up East side. My first apartment was on Dayton right behind the Yarnery’s current location. Hi! French Canadian here. The pronounciation of rambouillet is the 2nd one (like you said, because of the double L).
I agree with the pattern price thing. I don't think it's justified to make vanilla things expensive. I say charge a bit more for complicated patterns and less for vanilla. That's just logical.

Rating a pattern is fine. 4/5 is still a good rating. Petite has very nice patterns but this one was too expensive. Love your glasses you wore at the end of the podcast.

There is a very similar but free pattern to the Sophie Shawl/Sophie Scarf called The Simple Thing. Though I've never made the Petite Knit patterns, I would still recommend The Simple Thing. It is simple, lovely, easily customizable.

I love your monthly videos, they are always inspire me. Your sumac cowl is gorgeous! Did you use a looser gauge? Just looking at it looks looser and a little more drape-y than the project pages. Which I would prefer.
