It is played on a Johannus Live III AGO organ, using the sample of the Cavaillé-Coll organ in Église Notre-Dame d'Auteuil, Paris. The sample sets can be heard from four positions: console, front of the church, centre of the church, rear of the church. This recording uses the rear of the church position. The Cavaillé-Coll sample was chosen for this piece not because of any French influence in the writing, but because the composer's registrations were available almost exactly, spread across the three manuals, and all three balanced!

So far, Steven, this is my favorite. Very light and uplifting.

It is marked to be played "Jauntily", and it is a lovely little piece and, as ever with Robert's compositions, it falls very nicely under the fingers and feet, not to mention ears!

Very many thanks for listening and for commenting so positively. I have recorded quite a few of your publications, both composed by Robert and by Vernon Hoyle. Many thanks for publishing their works so that we all have the opportunity to enjoy playing them.
