Tyler, thanks for the vid. Very informative. Keep up with the how to's.
This guy is a god
Been trying to figure out how to do this glad I finally found this video thx for the help will be doing this to mine very soon
Im glad I can help you out, you should make a video when you do it :)
Haha had to laugh at your license plate! That's great!
hahaha I know right
Sorry about that I agree with you I could imagine if water spells what happens where walls meet the floor water runs under the walls then what
I just bought a 15' V6 1LT/RS, I am installing a K&N CAI and an MRT v1 axle back exhaust. Since I am new to the Camaro world, would you recommend this procedure for mine? p.s., I also bought a Pedal Commander, have one in my 14' F150 Ecoboost and bye bye throttle lag so I HAD to have one for the Camaro.
My very first "mod" on my SS lol. I only use the flaps when I go on long highway trips and that's since I installed high flow cats, if not I wouldn't activate them.
Yeah it is a great first mob and super easy LOL
What does it do?
@@ZayZion3 Keeps the exhaust flaps open all the time, better sound at low rpm.
Does this work for v6
great vid but what if the baffles are closed when you pull the fuse can i just pull it and they open when i start the car and stay that way or what?
when you car is off and when you first start it the baffles are open then they close after warmup I believe. when you pull the fuse it will just stay open all the time
Do you not pull both exhaust flap fuses? The R2 and F8 flap?
Did you ever figure this out
👍🏼👍🏼UP
Thanks bro
dose this way apply to 2012 camaro zl1?
same way?, same fuse?
if it has the app dual mode then i am 99% sure it is the same...sorry for the late response I'm sure u found the answer already LOL
npp dual mode*
@@TylerKinard55 thx, it's same for 2012 zl1 lol
So I have 2015 rs v6 so pulling the fuse make mine louder even with the mufflers on or do I need to pull the mufflers off
you can just remove the three screw things... ha.. on the right side.. no need to do all 6 of them. You can tell by the exhaust outlet which was used mostly before pulling fuse.. some one ask me why the outside is more dirty than the inside..
Yeah thats true lol
don't get me wrong, I enjoy the video. defiantly recommend this.. the exhaust sounds better..
Does it work for 2014 camaro ls single exhaust tips?
gixxer ryda 55 dual mode exhaust is an extra option, single exhaust tips are the regular exhaust
So on regular exhaust no, just get a cat back
did it work?
I jut did this it's louder when on the throttle but not when still. It gets annoying after a while because it vibrates the whole car. It's not a must do l.
Yeah it is louder when on throttle thats the point LOL. I mean I got used to it but it is everyone preference what they like and what they don't like
my ZL1 has very loud stock exaust headers American racing long tubes!
Just like American cars, hide stuff it wouldn't have hurt them to put some kind of access
Do a take off video
I will forsure soon thanks man for the suggestion :)
Tyler Kinard awesome looking forward on watching it
Dose it make your check engine light come on
I'm pretty sure I pull the rite fuse it sound the same I have a 13 rs
Damn that is really weird cause it is really noticeable especially in the lower RPMs
I just cut my mufflers off lol I get the cops called all the time 🤦♂️
hahahahaha i bet
