Hey I want start doing nails at home but I’m getting a little confused is there a difference between dip and gel and I see some of the videos that used a UV light with some nails and some of your video your don’t do you recommend getting one? And what start kits do you recommend for a beginner.
hi! so dip is a powder whereas gel is a liquid. in some of my dip videos, i use a gel top coat which needs to be cured since all “gel” products need to be cured. if you are solely using dip powder and only dip liquids, you will not need to cure. hope this makes sense and helps!
How do you take them off other than soaking off? Any tips and tricks? I wanna do the gel x then do dip but i'm scared i might have a hard time taking them off. Lol
in two weeks i actually have a removal video coming out, sharing how to take off gel x nails! i do use the soak off method, however make sure to keep my natural nails healthy underneath. stay tuned for that video!

i find it really comes down to the application of the base and quality of the product! of course, a little filing is not an issue.

hi! you could add a layer of activator if you were going to be using a dip powder top coat, however it is not needed when using gel top coat.

i can get about 2-3 weeks before i want to take them off! not because they come off rather because they grow out so much.

you can file and soak in acetone!
