I stopped counting how many times I watched this video. And I know I will watch it again. It brings me so much joy and peace. You make it look so easy to paint, that every time I watch it, I promise myself I will give it a try. I haven't yet, but I know I will.
I feel so lucky to have found this. After staring at a blank canvas, I got brave after seeing a few URArts videos. I always wanted to paint so I followed this one and posted it. Truly amazed by the amount of responses on the completed project (yep, a newcomer with 500+ responses) Thank you! I'm so encouraged and will keep going and

I tried this today and it ended up looking like mud! Sigh. As a rank beginner, one thing I'd love to see in these fast tutorials is when you need to paint wet on wet to blend, and when you need to let it dry before the next step :-) I'll try it again tomorrow!
I agree. Mine has come out looking like mud too. I’m doing my second attempt today…

If you watch Michelle the Paint and sip lady. She tells you so much about it all. Shes lovely and cant give enough info.. on you tube.
This is rather advanced blending and unless good at copying. A beginner will be lost. Start with Michelle. Its a beautiful painting in oils or acrylics but no tuition sorry..
I'd first find some "beginner painting techniques," videos..and find beginner tutorials. As you do some, you will naturally learn how to tell when to continue painting or not.
This was fun in tones of green and blue. Thinking of top coating the light areas with a flourescent or some type of luminous to see it glow in the dark.
