Maybe it's me but could you be more specific... I'm assuming you're asking about the plastic top cover, it's best to leave it on the car and unclipped only the bottom half... However if you are planning on refilling the tank yourself it's best leaving the cover bolted/screw to the car then carefully remove the connected tubes BLACK AND GREEN then deposit DPF liquid....then put the reservoir back in position then reattached clips.

My garage told me I had to have 3 litres for my now empty dpf tank/pouch. Is this the case or can 1 litre be ok? I dont want the additional cost as my car is now old. Thank you
Garage is right it does required 3 liter of that expensive fluid. In this case you're not planning to keep the car for any long period of time so 1 to 1½ liter of the stuff should be enough to prime the system and get you up and running. Keep in mind, the less trips to the gas station can save you from topping up EOLYS fluid.
@@MM2009 You are absolutely right👍 But in this case he's trying to keep costs at the minimal. It's a old car and I'm guessing that he won't be keeping it for too long before replacing it so 1½ liter of the stuff should be fine.
Hello... IT'S BEST TO REPLACE THE BAG... Duck tape won't work for a long time because of grease, dusks and heat. However if you decide to patch the bag use a regular bicycle patch with super glue.
Jamie Winton I wouldn’t recommend doing it yourself, it’s best to buy the liquid and take it to your local garage and have them fit it. In terms of pricing, on eBay a full DPF liquid particulate additives pouch selling for £60-£70.
Your reasoning is quite collective, but in this case we suspected a leak, hence DPF pouch removal. click on the link below to see how we repair the DPF pouch. th-cam.com/video/QutNTaezxTM/w-d-xo.html To all my viewers and subscribers, it's always handy to have a OBDII scanner at hand when doing this job so you can clear the error codes after the job is done.
@@stoneyvill thanks, I bought one from AliExpress but haven't found an app that I like to run it. Which app have you found best and did you have to pay for it? Cheers

Did he fit the top cover to the actual car before offering up the tank or just not bother putting it on??

The C4 Grand Picasso has the same DV6 engine.

I've filled my bag but it's leaking, will duck tape be ok to fix?

Where are you based please stoney ? My ds3 has just come up its low so need it filling up
Jamie Winton Hello we base in east London
Ok bit far away, can I ask what kind of price it will cost for re filling ? And how safe is it to drive it atm whilst it low

@@stoneyvill cheers mate ill look into it
The 4 screws are to hold the top of the tank once the bag has been filled not to refit the tank back into place..
Life saver, was about to let my local garage refill the pouch with AdBlue!!
I have a 2008 C4 2.0HDi, use the same stuff I assume?
Good video, but I gave the thumbs down because of the stupid round circles on the screen
I really appreciate the time you took to watch my video. I agreed that the round circles is kinda silly👍
Mach noch paar Flecken mehr ins Bild und noch blödere Musik dazu .
Amateur, if you don't replace the bag you don't need to take this off the car. Second part of the job is to reset additive in ECU
