I have a full regime from the dr Sam products and let me tell you. This regime has totally changed my skin. I swear by them!!! I get compliments daily and I have never felt more comfortable in my skin. Everything is great value for money. I cannot thank dr Sam enough! She truly is a miracle worker ! X
Honestly, I feel a lot of us were done dirty during our teenage years, because we were brainwashed to think we should use overly foaming cleansers to deeply clean and reduce our acne. It's sad that the industry is still perpetuating this. I'm glad more dermatologist-led brands/products are helping to change this.
I'm 35 and I still break out, OMG I'm so happy I found your channel and this video! The hardest thing for me is to find a decent lotion that is delicate, non oily, helps with acne AND has spf!
🕯I always watch to the end so I don't miss any pearls of wisdom! I have to say, I saw friends today that I haven't seen in at least 6 months. First, they wanted to know what I had done with the other half of mysself (because I've been on a weight loss journey for my health, and it's really working!), but second, they wanted to know what I had had 'done' to my face (fillers, peels, bktox, etc.) and for that, I have you to thank. All the good information you give us to match a product to a problem is clearly paying off! Plus, the whole sunscreen thing, which I am militant about now. That means all that other work finding the right routine for my skin, which I adjust as needed, will have the longer term results I'm hoping for. So that was a lot of blah blah blah 🙄 just to say how grateful I am to have found you...love you to pieces for making me smarter about my skin issues so that I no longer feel invisible and can truly say I feel as beautiful on the outside as I've always felt I was on the inside! 🥰🤗💖
OMG! I just found your channel. I am 38 mother of two and still suffer from acne fairly bad. It varies from season to season. I’ve already watched a few of your videos (love!!) I see a binge-watching weekend in my future. Hello from Nova Scotia, Canada and thanks so much for this content!
This video is so wonderful. To see you genuinely enthusiastic about a collab!!! This is the only “black friday” video I’ve enjoyed thus far. Wonderful production. It reallly was a joy to watch. Thank you ladies 🙏🏽
Love your videos, you have helped me understand skin care, the importance of wearing sunscreen everyday especially as I suffer from hyper pigmentation, melasma & adult acne. I now choose products that will help my skin as I turn and learn. I always watch to the end 🕯
As an adult who struggles with eczema and dermatitis and the occasional breakout, this video was great. I love how informative and helpful your videos are, they really have made such a difference in my skincare and mental health journeys. Thank you for being honest and true to yourself! 🕯💖🦋
🕯 Your personality is what drew me to religiously watching your TH-cam video. You have turned me into someone who actually cares about my skin and made it fun. Not only that but it has inspired me to going back to school and learn so much. Thank You we need more people like you.
I love Dr Sam! She was one of the first skincare you tube channels I found years ago and I’ve learned so much from her. Speaking of shampoo and conditioner on your skin, have you tried the SEEN hair care products? I have and they seem great - fragrance free, non-comedogenic and actually work.
Bio-Pacific Skin Care is the only skin care that worked on my adult acne. I tried so many and spent thousands of dollars. Absolutely changed my life. I hope others get to feel the feeling I have now. It's so great to not suffer anymore!
I discovered this brand through your video and it is one of my fave brands now. Haven't been disappointed by anything I've tried so far. The only down side is that it takes a long time to ship to Canada
🕯 I might try the one with azelaic acid and salicylic acid. The fact that it has bakuchiol just adds to my interest. I’m a bit ambivalent about The Ordinary Azelaic acid. Sometimes it stings, sometimes it pills up and sometimes it kinda makes the skin looks really nice 😯 so I’m puzzled 🤨 But I think one or two other products with azelaic acid, to alternate between, might be a very good idea! It’s been years since I’ve had my last breakout and even though I’ve come to realise that I never had acne - my problems were very mild in comparison to other teens - those pimples that I did have took their toll on my self esteem. I still find salicylic acid as an important ingredient in my skincare. ✌️😽💗
🕯I love your content! Not only has my skin improved (adult, combination, acne prone), I have learned to be a better consumer in selecting products from companies that are cruelty free and have strong missions in building better communities or helping the environment. Thank you for your work!
Thank you for talking about this and introducing us to products! I'm facing having wrinkles and acne at the same time! Wth?! My face will break out at the drop of the hat. Also I love cats! 😄 🕯
🕯….I’m simply in LOVE with her skincare line (all of it 🥰) and HER too!!! My heart was literally broken when they stopped shipping Nightly to Canada (thanks Health canada 😡). Every single drop of her magical elixir are worth the $$$! Thanks Cassandra for the review, it confirmed I was right to annoy all my friend and family about it 😂 Sending love from Montréal 🥰😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Cassandra, Thank you for featuring the British brand represented by Dr Sam. Another good Doctor that I have been watching (quite a while) is Dr Vanita Rattan. Her Sunblock and other skin line is a must to have. Thank you and always enjoy your content.
Ordered some of the tinted spf as the doctorly docs said an added tint can have added protection! Also at the bottom of Dr sams page you can switch to USA if having troubles when checking out. Adult acne suuuucks thank you!
I hope she makes a treatment specifically for pie. that isn’t exfoliating and with azelaic acid, with brightening ingredients like niacinamide and licorice root! That would be awesome!
Hi Cassandra! I would really love if you make an in depth video about teenage acne and teenage skincare routine. I'm a teenager with oily and acne prone skin and I would really love to learn infos from you! Btw, I love and appreciate your videos. You gave me so much infos about skincare, and i thank you for that! Love you!
🕯 You’ve helped me become inspired to take my skincare game to the next level. As someone whom also still struggles with acne, you’ve helped normalize it & I’m no longer embarrassed by breakouts
🕯️Literally sat here doing an article for my website about candles 🕯️ what perfect timing... Also probably because I'm binge watching all the videos I've been too busy to watch. Binge watching one of my fave skintellectuals ❤️ happy Tuesday everyone. Xx
That body cream along with the whole line has caught my eye. But especially the body cream as a KP person. My KP gives me a lot of confidence issues, plus I have ADHD so I find myself picking at my KP all the time leaving scabs and scars on my arms and it's really embarrassing. Seriously need to clear this stuff up. I really want to give this a try.
I'm a Black man. I just got out of the shower and I washed my face with La roche-posay toleriane hydrating gentle cleanser for normal to dry skin. After I dry my skin I'm at applied the ordinary glycolic acid 7% toning solution pH 3.6. My question is should I apply Olay Regenerist retinol 24 night moisturizer or should I just go to bed without the Olay Regenerist retinol 24 night moisturizer? Can the Ordinary and Olay be used one after the other? Can you please elaborate and educate me please. Thank you
Can you do a pregnancy-safe regime? An ER Doctor freaked me out about Retinols and makeup with it. Then a plastic surgeon freaked out about what another dermatologist prescribed and procedures while I was nursing. Specifically, AHA’s and cyst removal on my back as my hormones we out of control during nursing, and the cyst/bump on my back most likely would have gone away after I stopped nursing. I'm learning several dermatologists don't keep up with skin care products or the safety of products for pregnant or nursing moms.
Cassandra! Pretty please can you do a video on new skincare releases from Target?? The Byoma line and Ferver line, they are both new lines that market “boosted skin barrier” and have really interesting and amazing active and fermented ingredients. Some of their things seem to be working amazing for my skin but i need to know YOUR opinion on these and their ingredient claims!!!!!🥺🥺
Brilliant video Cassandra, you have me sold, I have struggled for years with oily blemished skin, I spend a fortune on skincare, currently looking on Dr Sam's site at her products, thanks love from Scotland Kate xx
Great video and just started using some of Dr Sam’s line. I really am enjoying the lip balm which is lovely and thick and I use over night. I have the body moisturiser and the SPF and looking forward to trying them
🕯️I've just started a proper routine over a month ago after stumbling upon your videos and am breaking out more than I used to when doing a basic wash. Which is annoying as im using acne products whi h should be good. So excited to give some of these recommendations a go as i struggle to find a sunscreen that i like and isnt greasy or oily as well as moisturisers which i think might be my problem. but still learning!! And every video gets me closer.
Hey Cassandra, I had really bad cystic acne but thanks to your product recommendations, I now have clear skin. Btw could you please do a brand review on Holifrog. I've been using them recently and really want to know your thoughts about them. They are also vegan and cruelty-free. Thanks and stay youtiful as always.
I applaud Dr.Sam for her dedication in trying to perfect her products, but offer a caveat regarding the sunscreen. I ordered several bottles and was disappointed that it was unsuited for my oily skin combined with the hot, humid weather in which I live six months a year. (I live in a valley of the Great Smoky Mountains, which is a rain forest.). I was so hopeful when it arrived because of the protection the sunscreen offered, it applied fine and was transparent. Unfortunately, it never settled, but remained tacky and unpleasant, regardless of how I tried to apply: all at once, in two, lighted layers, etc. And then I broke out. I gave the unopened sunscreen to friends and with the exception of one, who has extremely dry skin, had the same experience. Clearly, oily skin and a humid weather don’t play well with this otherwise lovely sunscreen. Our loss.
That’s sad. I have combination, acne prone skin and my skin absolutely adores her entire range, especially the sunscreen. Everyone’s skin reacts differently. I think the Shea butter is divisive because it breaks some people out but not others, such as myself.
🕯 haha I loveeeeee Dr Sam’s content and products!! I use Brightly serum everyday (it’s such a good all in one product) and the flawless cleanser is so gentle - I wish it was more opaque as sometimes I think I’ve not washed it away completely but I love the cleanser regardless! You have convinced me to try the spf 👀
Cass, will you do a video soon on retinol alternatives? I realised that it unfortunately flares up my rosacea and I want to see if there are other products with the same effect 😊
I love your videos....I'm in my mid 30's and still breakout. As a teen I'd get the big angry red pimples. Now a-days it is more cysts (almost scar like) and mask irritation. The one dermatologist I went to really irritated me by trying to push pills on me that I had already said I wasn't comfortable trying because of the side effects (this doctor was like "its no big deal, my teenagers are on the meds." I switched to another doctor who was a little better, but she suggested the regional cream that made my issues worse. Currogolgy is at least better than what the doctor gave me, but I might try something new.
This is kinda unrelated. I would REALLY love seeing a magnitone LIFTOFF micro current device review. Just got mine and I think it’s a stronger one than the rest on the market, tried it on my hand and shocked myself. Please help!
These products 😮 and girl I feel your pain with the dry patches and I eczema pop ups for the first time at 30 and I’ve been dealing with it for years and just over the last year my KP in legs have jumped off. But I’m starting to wonder if our water? Like just the overload from treatment
🕯A tiktok react vid w/ Dr. Sam would be awesome!!! I'm def gonna check out the neutralizing gel. I had a similar experience with salicylic acid in the past- it was just too harsh and would take away little white heads but instead give me huge, deep, painful bumps. I may try it around my acne/redness-prone areas. Thank you for this amazing video! What an inspiring woman and brand I would LOVE to support! ❤🌻
Hello Cassandra, What do you think of this product SVR A AMPOULE LIFT it has both vitC and Retinol and you said it’s best to use them at different times a day, whereas they are in the same product
Hi Cass, I change my shampoo and sudently I notice that my skin is better. Is not so oily and my hair can toutch my face. When you said in the video that your condicioner break out your back, It make sense to me
Hi, I have a sunscreen-related question I was hoping you could help answer.. if I apply sunscreen that is water-resistant for 80 minutes, then stayed indoors/in the shade without sweating for say 80 minutes before heading outside, do I need to reapply sunscreen before heading out or is my sunscreen application from earlier still effective?
Question! Would you be willing to do an episode by texture? Like favorite gel moisturizer and favorite thiccc moisturizer. Maybe a thiccc scale? More c’s, more thic?
🕯thank you for this video. I am an adult who suffers with acne and I am starting to use new kinder products based on your recommendations. I do a lot of camping and backpacking and I’d like to know what kinds of products I can use when I have to worry about every ounce I carry. Currently I use makeup wipes to wash my face, because I have no other way to do that. Any other suggestions? I don’t have enough water to rinse, and if I would, it would be ice cold. I also don’t want to introduce soaps or residues into the wilderness. Are wipes my only option?

Dr. Sam is not actually a dermatologist. She is a cosmetic doctor.

Well I think it's safe to say that she really REALLY likes this Dr Sam person. A whole lot. Nice vocabulary too.
🕯️ No idea how I've followed you for awhile and never watched this video!! I needed this!
I have dr Sam sunscreen, cleanser and brightly serum. I’m 18 and it works amazing for my skin. Literally changed my skin, definitely worth the money

I really like the brightly serum. It helps with my wrinkles and acne. Its one of the few products that doesn't anger my skin
🕯️This emoji was hard to found 😂 Love Dr Sam, it's expensive for me living across the world but I've try everything and love it

🕯 Dr Sam's products look soooo good, I really must try some and she seems such a lovely person!

Just ordered my first 4 products! Can’t wait to try! X
Armpit darkness is *normal* in poc. Europe centrist beauty beauty standards should not define us. Pls do not advertise things with "armpit lightening"
Thank you for the video;) Cassandra, please review Augustinus Bader products, would be great to hear your review 😊

Thanks for this information!!!! Are they useful for skin of color?
I'm never gonna miss a single video 🕯🕯🕯🕯
🕯I wonder what Dr. Sam recommends the most for acne scarring. And I think this is setting a great example of how sponsoring should work
🕯Absolutely love Cassandra and her awesome content! I have learned soooo much from her amazing videos. Thank you millions Cassandra ❤
🕯thanks for the info! I look forward to trying some of these!
i would love to know more about hair products you love!!! I’ve been really struggling with my hair and scalp, and bacne too
Cass, will you do a video soon on retinol alternatives? I realised that it unfortunately flares up my rosacea and I want to see if there are other products with the same effect 😊
Which ingredients should I look out for when buying vegan skin care??
Hi you can try Luxe Organics Aloe Vera Gel
🕯i have learned so much from your videos. And These products sounds good for my acne prone skin, which is also dry.
Cass can you do a brand review on Krave beauty? A skincare brand created by a Korean American TH-camr. Love to know what you think of it!
🕯 😍 and this ❤is for the butterfly team.
🕯️ Thank you so much for this video! I've been looking for something just this brand, for a super long time. Neutralizing gel..take me away! ❤️☺️🕯️
🕯I love and thank you for all the knowledge you always give ❤
Why don‘t you have (automatised) subtitles?
🕯 For sure going to check her products out!
This is kinda unrelated. I would REALLY love seeing a magnitone LIFTOFF micro current device review. Just got mine and I think it’s a stronger one than the rest on the market, tried it on my hand and shocked myself. Please help!
Off topic but Dr Sam is so gorgeous😱😍
love this!! 🕯
The Nightly Serum is worth it.
Congratulations!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🕯🥰
These products 😮 and girl I feel your pain with the dry patches and I eczema pop ups for the first time at 30 and I’ve been dealing with it for years and just over the last year my KP in legs have jumped off. But I’m starting to wonder if our water? Like just the overload from treatment

Hello Cassandra, What do you think of this product SVR A AMPOULE LIFT it has both vitC and Retinol and you said it’s best to use them at different times a day, whereas they are in the same product
🕯Happy Sunday Cassandra
Yay 😊
Are all of these products safe in pregnancy and for those trying to conceive?
🕯️🕯️🕯️ Here's the candle emoji :) love love love!!!
Is this for black skin? Will the product like the SPF 50 leave black skin looking ashy?
Does any one used neutralizing gel? Will that work on acne scars?
🕯 i just love your videos
Hi Cass, I change my shampoo and sudently I notice that my skin is better. Is not so oily and my hair can toutch my face. When you said in the video that your condicioner break out your back, It make sense to me
Do we have to use the sunscreen on winter too?
Hi, I have a sunscreen-related question I was hoping you could help answer.. if I apply sunscreen that is water-resistant for 80 minutes, then stayed indoors/in the shade without sweating for say 80 minutes before heading outside, do I need to reapply sunscreen before heading out or is my sunscreen application from earlier still effective?
Lol just what i need it... i was think about this yesterday ... just on point 😆👍
Question! Would you be willing to do an episode by texture? Like favorite gel moisturizer and favorite thiccc moisturizer. Maybe a thiccc scale? More c’s, more thic?
I LOVE this idea!!!
🕯🕯🕯 love you cass!

I have just started using Dr Sam Products and I have to say they are amazing my redness has one down by 50% in one week loving using them
