Surviving the Himalayan Highway | World's Most Dangerous Roads | Autentic Documentary

India's most extreme road is a 475-kilometer long route that connects the city of Manali with Leh, the central hub of the Ladakh region. The highway lives up to its name, crossing five of the highest drivable mountain passes in the world, reaching heights of over 5,000 meters. Drivers struggle with the rugged terrain and thin air, leading to breathlessness and altitude sickness. This makes it one of the most dangerous roads in the world.
Due to the heavy snowfall, it is only passable for a few months of the year, but from June onwards there is a real rush to supply the remote villages. A convoy of trucks, buses, pickups and cars travel day and night towards the Himalayas. Numerous military convoys also use the road, underscoring its crucial strategic significance.
Truck drivers Narendra Kumar Bodh and Kehar Singh have been driving on the Manali-Leh Highway for many years and have mastered every conceivable challenge along the way. Despite the dangers of the road, they keep coming back. #ExtremeRoads
