Just found out of Joey's passing. Sad day in music history. Been listening to their music for almost 20 years. Pretty sure that this was the first song that I have heard by them. Rest in peace Joey :(
One thing that’s amazed me about Corey Taylor for like basically ever is he manages to scream yet you still understand and feel every single word he says.

Epic comment and this song and band lets you know that no matter what you deal with whether feeling like an outsider, outcast or anything other than your typical "norm" you can relate to Slipknot's music and Corey's lyrics so keep shredding and jamming and fuck anyone who thinks otherwise!!🤘🔥
Yeah, Slipknot's music was cathartic balm for my raging soul. "Music soothes the savage beast", as Aesop once wrote, and no quote more adequately describes Slipknot's music. #SlipknotSavesLives. 🤘🤘🤘

Fck Slipknot, Joey did everything for the band never cared for him, they used him when he was useful the moment he got sick he was kicked out of the band. Sick human being man. R.I.P LEGEND 💔
Ever since I was a teenager I've wanted to see Slipknot on stage, I'm 32 now and I still have that dream knowing full well it'll never happen. One of my greatest regrets in life is not being able to see them live when they were all still here!
I said this about the Smashing Pumpkins and I've seen them live twice since. With the original line up minus D'Arcy. So seeing Slipknot is still v possible 👍
0:52 when you're a DJ named Sid Wilson and you are performing Wait And Bleed by Slipknot then you realize how into the song you are so you decide to headbang to the tempo of the song

Ive followed since the beginning and now my son has taken over the head banging. Joey thankyou for helping start this band we miss you brother, the greatest drummer in history
Reaper craft 18 mosh pits may look fun but I've been in a figure 8 and security had to carry me out because people were getting the heads cracked open and bleeding everywhere and punching each other if it's a standard pit it's fine but try and get out if it's figure 8
So am I. After his passing, I've been watching or listening everyday this band's music videos, documentary, Joey's interview in particular and my most favorite Joey Jordison All Star Roadrunner Session.🤘
Everyone talks about misshearing "my shell" with "Michelle", well I used to think that he's saying "I felt the air rise up in me" instead of "I felt the hate rise up in me", and instead of hearing "but I'm a victim" I always heard "but I'm addicted".
As a pre teen in the early 2000s I remember downloading this on Limewire and burning this music video on a DVD disc I owned together with other music videos by other bands like Pantera, Hatebreed, etc. When I'm home alone I would blast this in the afternoon and listen to it, fun times.
Walter C. Dornez did not come from the era of Headbangers ball with Rikki rachtman .it rocks it's just post Headbangers era,eg.exodus metal command, anthrax state of euphoria, overkill feel the fire etc. It rocks or else why would I be here listening.some nu metal is acceptable but the radio rock that's watered down is poisoning the hardcore metal.
Another amazing vocalist is mike Patton from faith no more and his many more projects( bungle, tomahakk, he show a azng kilzss singer bu t poor socialskillz, and he can switch from absolute whispering soothing crooner, to angry experimental metal, singer in a tenth of a second brilliant, on a musical point of wiew the man is brilliant.

I’ve been through a lot of rough patches in my life and when I was in my most depressive pit slipknot was something that helped save my life in all honesty and this song was one of those
I am surprised one or more of the band members didn’t get heatstroke, doing that much physical activity in black jump suits. They must have been super hot.

Ever since I was a teenager I've wanted to see Slipknot on stage, I'm 32 now and I still have that dream knowing full well it'll never happen. One of my greatest regrets in life is not being able to see them live when they were all still here!
Why not they are still on tour. I seen them for the first time a few weeks ago.
@@earvase I think the person wanted to see them with the whole lineup
dude they are still on tour and its worth every penny. I saw them in Charleston, sc and it was the best live performance i'd ever seen 10/10
I said this about the Smashing Pumpkins and I've seen them live twice since. With the original line up minus D'Arcy. So seeing Slipknot is still v possible 👍
That stinks, I felt the same way about Nirvana when I was a youngster. 42 now and still regret never seeing Kurt live
0:52 when you're a DJ named Sid Wilson and you are performing Wait And Bleed by Slipknot then you realize how into the song you are so you decide to headbang to the tempo of the song

Reaper craft 18 mosh pits may look fun but I've been in a figure 8 and security had to carry me out because people were getting the heads cracked open and bleeding everywhere and punching each other if it's a standard pit it's fine but try and get out if it's figure 8

The song that started it all for me…became a fan in 1999 and still rocking! SLIPKNOT FOR LIFE!
Or just to sound rock’n’roll slipknot for death
im not too big into big heavy headbangers, but slipknot has a special place in my heart
THE RAGING SLUSHY same but like the songs :)
THE RAGING SLUSHY this is not true headbanging.this is nu metal but decent and hate filled.
