Man exactly me to. I just picked up an LMM truck that served as a site to site runner for a Texas company. I wanted a stick truck week cared for and the thought of trying to get more power only to grenade the DURAMAX engine so easily by mistake feels ridiculous for me it's enough torque and should start working or be fixable. Bird on the hand beats 2 in the bush unless you got utube type money. On regular people expenditures, in not getting pistons, head studs and rods done to go with bigger turbos or even hot tunes. 660 ftlbs x 10 years beats 1,320 ftlbs x 6 months.. I do admire the built trucks though.
I have a tuned and deleted 09 lmm with a 5 tune efi live and I leave it on stock tune, truck runs better, no check engine lights, sounds better and way better fuel mileage. I mean if you’re gonna drive like a kid it wont last but deleting and tuning your truck if you will drive it like an adult the truck will run better and last longer. Definitely wouldn’t put a k&n on it though, i have and s&b and it’s basically the same filtration as stock but with a bigger air filter.
@@bradenconway9066same. Exact setup as you. Drive it respectfully and only romp it when you have too. Truck runs way cooler and way happier because of no egr and regen stages.

Nice Vid...I got an 09 LMM with thr H&S Street Tune 120hp Cold air and Delted with straight Exhaust...Do I really need a lift pump...

I have around 200k on mine and it runs perfect. My dad had one and sold it at 350k and still runs like a champ!!

Do you just plug in the tune? Really want to fully delete my truck. I’m no mechanic but I want to try and do everything myself

Yes but you have to get the right tuner. And once you delete it everything will open up. It will become a completely different truck
