Super Junior is actually a group that was supposedly gonna disband after 3 months. They worked their butt off to make sure that Lee Soon Man Opparr wouldn't disband them and now they're on their 15th anniversary.
Super Junior has a record of having songs ahead of their time, similar with EXO, and they usually have songs that challenge the boundaries of KPop. They did a whole collaboration with Latino singers in the songs Lo Siento and Otra Vez. They also were the first group to have a sub-unit in KPop. Their sub-unit Super Junior KRY is Gen2 KPop fans' EXO-CBX.
I recommend Mamacita, Burn the Floor, Evanesce, and any KRY songs.

@@chaeroii Leeteuk, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Zhoumi, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeoweok, Kibum, Kyuhyun and Henry. They were divided into two sub units then. I don't remember the exact name for both sub units but it's like SuJu M and SuJu K.

SuJu originally had 12 members then added Kyuhyun to make it 13 members. No more members were added to Super Junior after that. Korean fans objected to adding any more members so Henry and Zhoumi are not official members but just a part of a SuJu subunit. The Korean fans bought stock into SM to show how serious they were so SM backed off.

To answer your question, Super Junior has not disbanded. In fact, SM's founder, Mr. Lee Soo Man established an exclusive label, Label SJ, to celebrate Super Junior's 10th Anniversary way back 2015. Super Junior celebrated their 15th Anniversary last year, and are set to release an album anytime this month.
At 9:22, "Ooh, I like him, who's that?' That is Donghae. FUN FACT: Super Junior's Donghae loves Sehun as a baby brother. I've seen a lot of moments where Donghae treats Sehun like a baby, similar to how the EXO hyungs treat Sehun hihi. You just gotta love SM family interactions!

Finally.. The guy you liked is kyuhyun, he's known for being one of the best vocalists in korea. I remember this blog that used to analyze all vocalists in south korea in terms of techniques and such and he was ranked the first for many years. I would recommend reacting to super junior ballads and lives as well as super junior KRY which the vocalists' sub unit. Thank you for this btw.

For those who may not know a lot about Super Junior, to help you understand how influential and epic Super Junior are: The group was originally created to be a "project group" which meant that SM Entertainment originally put the group together with members who had all different talents within the entertainment industry, as well as singing and dancing.
When the group was created they were considered the super rookies of the company so they were given the name Super Junior '05. The original purpose of the group was for the members to get more experience in all aspects of the entertainment industry while they also worked as singers and dancers. For example, Shindong and Eunhyuk were supposed to be training as comedians and hosts, Siwon was an actor, etc. (That is why the members of Super Junior are involved in all aspects of the entertainment industry today.)
The original plan was that after about 3 to 6 months, when their company decided the members had gained enough experience, the individual members would graduate from the group and form other groups or move on to other careers within the entertainment industry, etc. and new members would be added to the group.
However, Super Junior gained a very large and vocal Korean fandom even before they debuted, and when the fans heard about SM's plan to have the members of Super Junior leave the group, the fans got together and demanded that SM allow Super Junior to stay together. With large scale protests and purchasing enough shares of SM stocks, fans became voting members of SM Entertainment's board of directors and were able to force SM to promise that Super Junior would become a permanent group. E.L.F. (Ever Lasting Friends -- SJ's fandom) are some of the most loyal and vocal of all Kpop fans.
Plus, I think one reason why fans were so upset about Super Junior '05's concept was the fact that the members of Super Junior were actually part of a larger group of trainees who the fans had watched go through an elimination process. The members who "made it" where the 5 members who originally became the members of TVXQ, and the members who formed Super Junior '05 were the "castoffs." But fans had already formed a bond with ALL the trainees, so they were upset that the other members who "didn't make it" (Super Junior members) might eventually disappear from the spotlight, etc.
When Super Junior first debuted on Nov 6, 2005, they had 12 members, but 6 months later Kyuhyun was added to the group to officially make them a 13 member group.
Then in 2008, SM created the very first Mandarin Chinese sub-unit designed to bring Kpop to the Chinese market and they added 2 new members to Super Junior (Zhoumi and Henry) and Super Junior officially became a 15 member group. Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian and Zhoumi is native Chinese. However, Zhoumi and Henry were only allowed to be members of Super Junior-M. So, Super Junior is a 13 member group + 2 (Super Junior-M) members.
So, technically, Super Junior was "originally" a 15 member group. However, in the same way that the Korean ELF supported Super Junior and forced SM to make them a permanent group, in 2008 when SM announced the addition of Henry and Zhoumi and the creation of Super Junior-M, Korean fans protested yet again. But this time they were against adding any new members to Super Junior. So the Korean fans forced SM, this time, to agree to only make Henry and Zhoumi members of Super Junior's Mandarin sub-unit (they needed more Chinese members to make the Chinese sub-unit work), and they were not allowed to be included in anything to do with the main group of Super Junior.
Then in 2010, Hangeng (The industry's very first non-Korean member of a Kpop group -- he was Chinese) and Kibum left the group and Super Junior became an 11 member group + 2 (Super Junior-M) members.
In 2018 Henry left SM Entertainment, but he never officially left Super Junior. Now, before someone says "Henry is not a part of Super Junior any more," I want to point out that it has never officially been said that Henry has left Super Junior. Yes, he left SM when his contract was up after 10 years, to start his own independent company, but that doesn't necessarily mean he left the group. So many true fans are holding out hope that this means he still may collaborate with SJ on projects in the future. (He is still living and working in Korea and he is still in contact with all the SJ members, etc.) After all, the 3 members of Girls Generation who left SM have said they would like to do something similar in the future. All three members of Girls Generation have said just because they left SM, doesn't mean they left the group.That's why when Girls Generation made their most recent comeback they did it as a sub-unit Oh!GG, because they weren't the full group. And even Taecyeon from 2PM recently left JYP Entertainment, but his new company has partnered with JYP to allow Taecyeon to continue activities with 2PM. (Taecyeon was included in 2PM's recent comeback and activities.) And L from Infinite left Woollim Entertainment, but we have seen him participate in some activities with his group. And Ravi from VIXX left JellyFish Entertainment, but he has continued activities with his group. So, it looks more promising all the time that if Henry ever wanted to do something with SJ again, he could. After all, Henry is one of Lee SooMan's (SM's) favorite people. (Even though SM may have never allowed Henry to reach his full potential under them, which is part of the reason why he left the company. But I don't think there was any bad blood between them when he left, and he has always been one of SM's most prized artists for the amount of talent he has.)
Then in 2019, KangIn officially left Super Junior, and now they have 10 members + 2 (Super Junior-M) members.
However, currently they have 9 active members. Sungmin decided to take a hiatus from the group in 2017 because of Korean fans' protest over him getting married. And now after almost 4 years, even though he had his solo debut in 2019, he has still not done any activities with Super Junior.
Zhoumi renewed his contract with SM in 2018, so he is still an "active" member of Super Junior, however, because of the political issues between China and Korea, Zhoumi had not done anything with Super Junior for almost 6 years. However, Zhoumi released a new song "I'll Be There" with SM, and more specifically, under Super Junior's label -- Label SJ -- and it features Kun and Xiaojun from WayV. And, even more exciting, is the fact that, for the first time in a long time, Zhoumi has been back to Korea and he actually has been working with Super Junior again. Zhoumi and Ryeowook(one of SuJu's main vocalists and a member of Super Junior-M) have a new song out called "Starry Night" and they have a Korean and Chinese version. Zhoumi is an actor, model, author, lyricist and songwriter/producer, etc. in China. If it wasn't for all the political issues he probably would have been in Korea working with Super Junior this whole time. But because he is only a member of Super Junior-M and they aren't active right now because they were unable to promote in China, Zhoumi has been doing other things with his career.
So, as you can see, depending on the time period you will see a wide fluctuation in the number of members who are included in each of their songs, MVs and activities. Because they have such a large group with such a wide range of ages, the number of members have fluctuated over the years as the members have all taken their turns serving in the military, because of injury, and controversies that have caused some members to take time off, etc.

SJ have a variety of music types almost they done all genre, but in general, their group's title songs when they were managed by SM all have the catchy vibe like : sorry sorry , para Mr simple simlpe, bonamana bonamana, hey mamacita ayayaya. but once they got their own label and they started to have their freedom in choosing their title songs we started to get different concept and vibes for their title songs and all were great.

It's almost impossible to be a fan of Kpop and not know Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" LOL. This is one of THE MOST iconic Kpop songs and choreo of all time. "Sorry Sorry" came out in 2009 and it is what shot Super Junior into intentional super stardom. EVERY single person and their grandparents in Korea knows this song and can dance the dance. "Sorry Sorry" is the one song that everyone in the industry knows and is practically required to perform at least once in their careers. This song is so well known and so iconic that it is the most well known Kpop song around the world and when it came out it became an international trend. Groups of people were getting together in 2009/2010 and learning this dance and song and posting it all over the internet. The song was so big that even an entire prison population in the Philippines learned this dance and performed it. You can find thousands of clips of groups of people from all around the world performing this song and even grandmothers have formed dance teams and aerobics workout classes around this song and choreo. As you might have noticed, Super Junior is known for their vocals and for their dancing. As an SM Entertainment group it's really no surprise that the members are all amazing vocalists and dancers because that's just a fact about the type of people that SM selects to be a part of its company. SM has become known for its amazing vocalists and dancers and that is why it's one of the largest and most influential entertainment companies in Korea and around the world.
Super Junior has 3 main/lead rappers -- Eunhyuk, Shindong and Heechul -- but they are all amazing singers as well. SJ's rappers are such good singers that they have even been known to fill in for the main signers on occasion. But, the more you follow SM Entertainment groups, you will soon discover that all of SM's rappers were actually chosen to become trainees for their vocal and/or dancing skills. All of SM's rappers learned to rap, or at least became good at it, after they joined the company. Therefore, all of SM's artists are amazing vocalists -- being great rappers is just a bonus.
They debuted Nov. 6, 2005, so 2020 was their 15th anniversary. They have 10 full length albums, as well as multiple mini albums. Plus, they have 5 sub-unis -- Super Junior-K.R.Y. (made up of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- SJ's main vocalists), Super Junior-D & E (made up of Donghae and Eunhyuk), Super Junior-T (Trot -- which is like a cross between the equivalent of western old-style country music and cabaret music. It's older-style Korean pop music that's all about being kind of cheesy, fun and over the top.), Super Junior-M (Mandarin Chinese) and Super Junior-H (Happy). And they have 13/12 members in total (originally 15 members) and most of them also have solo tracks and albums. So yes, they have plenty of songs to check out, as well as numerous live performances and concert footage. Super Junior was the first group to ever hold 100 concerts back in 2014, and there have been dozens more since then. So, I don't think you will run out of Super Junior things to watch for a very long time. LOL
Super Junior are one of the Godfather's of Kpop and they have always been ahead of their time. They have such a wide range of songs and styles that they appeal to almost everyone, you just have to find your jam. When "Sorry Sorry" came out no one was doing what Super Junior was doing and the sound and style of the music was so new and trendy that it caught on like wildfire. And that's pretty much what Super Junior has been doing ever since.
Super Junior has their own record label -- Label SJ -- which is under SM Entertainment, but also more independent, so they are able to collaborate with other Kpop artists outside of SM Entertainment and even non-Kpop artists such as Latin artists like Reik and Leslie Grace.
The members range in age from 37-31.(During "Sorry Sorry" they were 26-21) That's why they have a more mature and classy look and feel to their most recent MVs and songs and that's why you often see them dressed in suites. They are all men, not boys. LOL But as you will soon discover, they are one of the most unique groups when it comes to the dynamics of the members personalities -- they truly are fun, crazy, over the top and aren't afraid to just let their freak flag fly when they interact with each other. They truly are a group of brothers that have been together for so many years that nothing is off limits and they don't hide their true selves from the cameras. LOL
Super Junior are known for their story based MVs, their catchy choreography and their goofy fun concepts. Some of their other songs you should check out are "Danger" by Super Junior-D&E; "Black Suit" and "Devil" by Super Junior; and Super Junior-M's "Swing". (Super Junior-M is Super Junior's Mandarin sub-unit so if you react to them maybe consider reacting to the Chinese/Mandarin versions of the songs because that's the original version.)
SJ are legends in the industry and they have paved the way for almost everything you see in the Kpop industry today. They set the standard for how Kpop is promoted around the world. They are also the first group to have serious roles in all the other entertainment industries -- setting the standard on how a Kpop star branches out into all parts of the industry. They are not only singers and dancers but members are musicians, composers, songwriters, lyricists, music and video producers, TV and movie actors, stage actors, models, radio DJs/ hosts, variety show hosts/MCs, authors, etc. Pretty much anything we think of as a standard part of the Kpop industry was created because of them. They were the first Kpop group to have non-Korean members, the first group to have dedicated sub-units and the first Kpop group to have a sub-unit that focused on producing songs in Mandarin for the Chinese audience. They are seniors to groups like Girls Generation, SHINee, F(X), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT and aespa, etc. who are all part of SM Entertainment.
I'll always be grateful to SuJu for taking good care of EXO especially during EXO's rookie days.

The member at 9:22 is Donghae. One of the best dancers in Super Junior. He wrote the song 'one more chance' from Super Junior. One of my favourite songs of theirs. You should definitely check out Super Junior K.R.Y. If Chen, Baekhyun and Kyungsoo are the top kpop vocalists of the third generation kpop groups, K.R.Y is that of the second generation. The six of them actually also collaborated with each other multiple times. Also BoA is a senior of EXO at SM as well.

Kyuhyun, the shaggy-haired maknae, joined the group in 2006, a few months later than the official debut of the group in 2005, so initially, the fans, and even the members themselves, weren’t very welcoming of him. But now, he’s their precious maknae on top (with Ryeowook, the original maknae). They’re due to release their 15th year anniversary album soon, as it was delayed from last year.

SM's first huge boy group was H.O.T. then Shinhwa. Shinhwa left SM after their contract ended but are still active. Shinhwa created their own label, Shinhwa Company. They're the oldest k-pop group that is still active and have never lost or replaced a single member.

The reason for me (and probably others) is because SJ are EXO's senior group and many people stan EXO because of their vocals, so I like recommending SuJu to those people as well because SJ has THE BEST vocals in the kpop industry. And that's not just personal opinion, lol. Kyuhyun, the one with shaggy hair in Sorry Sorry, and that you also recognized in Mr. Simple, is considered the best male voice in kpop. And Ryeowook (the small higher toned singer) is number two. Yesung (the black fluffy haired one in Mr. Simple) is also highly regarded, and the three of them make up the vocal sub unit Super Junior - KRY. Well, the thing with super junior is that all of their songs are gonna stuck in your head....even ballads....cause their choruses are very catchy in every damn song and those phrases just stay in your head ahahaha Yeah, the guy you pointed out in MR Simple is the same guy with shaggy hair - his name is Kyuhyun (the maknae in SJ) and he's actually known as one of the best idol ballads singer (has the whole solo album too). SJ also is the group which started popularising in kpop to have sub-units in such big groups, so in case of SJ they have many units, but I think you may be interested in SJ K.R.Y - this is their vocalists unit (3 members - 3 main vocalists) and they mainly sing ballads which really showcase their vocals (again, SM vocal powerhouse doesn't disappoint lol). As for other SJ songs, I recommend 'Mamacita', 'Black Suit', 'No Other' (that's just my fav), 'Dont Don', '2ya2yao' - all of these songs are very different in terms of style and genre so I think it will really show how versatile SJ can be (like of course, they're on stage for 15 years lol)

The guy with the messy hair in "Sorry Sorry" that you like is definitely not the leader, his name is Kyuhyun and he is the maknae of the group. Kyuhyun is one of SuJu's 3 main vocalists. He was the last member to be added to the main group of Super Junior. He has an amazing vocal range and he is known as one of the best vocalists in the industry. Professional singers have said that what makes Kyuhyun's voice special is the fact that he can hit pretty much any note and even the notes in between notes. He is known for his model good looks and his leading man personality. He debuted as an actor even before he became a member of Super Junior. He is now one of the top Korean actors in the industry and he has even starred in an international Hollywood movie with some of the top U.S. actors. When not working on a project with Super Junior, you will find him on the set of a TV drama or movie -- he is constantly working on his next project. He is also one of the top earning actors in the industry and he is one of the richest Idols. He comes from a very wealthy family, but he is extremely humble and he refuses to live off his parents money, so his wealth is all self-made. Siwon actually has a child-like heart and is super kind. He is one of the most philanthropic idols as well. He is always looking for ways to use his money to make the world a better place. He is known for being very open about his faith and as a Christian he often brings up his faith in conversations. He is absolutely one of the nicest, kindest, sweetest guys around and the other members of SuJu say he is actually too nice, because he makes them all look bad. ;P The members of SuJu have nicknamed him Captain Korea because of his all around good guy personality and his need to try and save the world. He is the member who is the most fluent in English (besides Henry who is a Canadian so English is his native language.) He is also a member of Super Junior-M, SuJu's Chinese sub-unit, so he speaks some Mandarin as well. (However, don't be confused, he is Korean. Most of the members of Super Junior-M are Korean. There are only 3/2 members of the 7 member sub-unit who are Chinese.)

Super Junior is one of the very first groups I discovered when I got into kpop. I have been ELF since '07 with Don't Don. I had the great fortune to meet them when I lived in Korea several years ago. Extremely nice guys and completely flattered me too much with my broken Korean (I was extremely new to learning the language at the time).
Shindong (the heavier member) has been pretty much the only "plus size" idol. He isn't as heavy anymore, he recently made the choice to slim down for health reasons but he's still a bigger guy. Great dancer, awesome attitude, super funny.

Super junior is the first group I've listened too.. I love them until I met EXO.. Dont get me wrong I still love them but EXO is lies deep in my heart.. Super junior has 13 members before and they celebrated their 15th anniversary last year. Super junior and EXO were really close as sunbaes and hoobaes.. EXO also danced Sorry sorry back then. "Mr. Simple" came out in 2011 and there are 10 members in the MV. Kibum and Hangeng had left the group at this point and KangIn was serving in the military at this time.
I will recommend their live ballad performances more. I'm probably being biased but for me they have the best vocalists. That's their biggest flex.

5:14 Shindong, great great dancer. He got a lot of crap for his body, now he follows a relatively strict diet (his words) to keep being thin which is disturbing but it's an obligation for idols. Interestingly enough most SuJu members carved a decent career for themselves outside of music and a lot of them showed a great sense of showmanship which got them into variety shows all over the country (but also acting gigs for others), especially Heechul (5:50).
