I've found that if I am using a sheet large enough to cover a table the size of the table in your demo, the corner work actually becomes much more difficult.
I've got a decorated wooden column, think a fluted column at the end of a stair railing. Can I vinyl wrap that? The goal is to avoid painting but provide a fresh coat of paint gloss for an art project. Only needs to last a month.
This was useful, thanks! Considering wrapping a mech keyboard for a client and then finishing with a lacquer-- never really worked with 2080 before, would it take a spray finish well?
Im no vinyl pro but I would recommend the shrink into place method where while cold u shape it a little bit over the edge and shrink it by heating it a little bit until it stick on the corner but not too hot to where it will pierce through it when it shrinks

Thank you for sharing, exactly what I needed.
No problem
Thanks for showing this - apart from explaining it - also shows that just get some sample bits of wood and wrap and have a practice.
Exactly thee demonstration I was looking for, should not be able to wrap several PC water-cooling Radiators, thank you.
My issue is always cutting my pieces too short lol. I see how much over hang you use and I know I would’ve had maybe 3 inches of over hang.
Subscribed! Your video was the best on this tip! Thanks for sharing and saving me some aggravation!
Subscribed! Very helpful video, Thanks. I have a question: what is the brand of the vinyl film?

Learned a lot - thanks.
Can this be done on wood? Looking at wrapping some home speaker enclosures.
Yes
Nice work I appreciate it

Did you end up doing it?
@@TangerineTypes not yet. I'm happy keeping my keyboard stock and the guy who was gonna pay me to do it kinda vanished haha
That corner was kind of rounded. Can you show a sharp corner? I’m worried my paper is going to pierce when I heat and stretch it.

Does the heat expand or contract the vinyl? I'm confused. It looks like for you it's expanding whereas for 3M it contracts
More wrap videos! 💯
They are coming! Thanks for the support
very nice work. do you think it is possible to wrap 3d printed stuff?
it is possible it just takes a lot of patience
So I need a heat gun? Will a hair work I am just wrapping a button box
Hair dryer can work just takes a little longer.
that is so good, Thank you!
Doing this demo with gloss black doesn't really help with the lighting
Excellent! ❤
Thank you
I dont suppose a hair dryer would do?
How can I get this wood sticker paper in Cameroon
it's not "wood sticker paper" it's vinyl wrap. same as for cars. 3M 2080.
Wrapping granite in vinyl 😵💫
That granite was HIDEOUS. I’d much rather look at the vinyl 🤣
Not as easy as you make it look when you're wrap is covering the entire base!
