This dude took me like 2 hours the first time i fought him. I used most of my heals during the level and had to learn him exactly, probably the most fun I've had in a DW game in a long time. Good work my dude 👍
The thing that I love about this game is that after fighting Lu Bu for the first time and winning, everything else in this demo becomes way clearer for you and the chaos you experienced when first playing the game immediately dissapeared since you've already mastered the game's mechanic. Lu Bu actually forces you to understand and master all of the game's mechanic and use it to your advantage. That is some god-tier, Soulslike-level boss design that has never been seen in a Warriors game before, and I'm all for it. If they can make Lu Bu's fight this engaging, imagine what they can do with Guan Yu's fight in Fan Castle
its been a while since I want to play a Dynasty Warrior game. I might pick this one up. impressive fight, I may not be able to do it, but you made it look doable.
It's cool that you can get a finishing move on him. I beat him on both Wayfarer and Hero (after losing a lot of times) and I hope there's more "boss" officers like that. This looks like they've taken elements from their Nioh and Wu Long games but also I can imagine they don't wanna go overboard with it due to Musou fans not playing these games for that kind of challenge.

@@_pennywize I've only played Kessen 3 but I could see the resemblance with the charge attacks yeah. Loved that game, the story was awesome ! Still my favorite depiction of Nobunaga ever, more of a hero than the usual demon king type thing, definitely romanticized and showing only the good parts but hell, I don't care, was great. In 3 you controlled the entire unit like a character though so it's also different, in a way, I remember you could also summon meteors, a flaming phoenix, tornadoes etc... so definitely something else in that regard, lol. Sick gameplay ! Depending on how the story goes/if we can side with a certain faction, we could have some more boss fights against hyper officers, like Zhang Fei on Chang Ban and whatnot.

Oh sorry I got what you mean, that means you are dodging at the wrong timing or u spammed the dodges. Ig u want shorter recovery frame of the dodge, you can't spam the dodges, bc if u press the dodges too quick it will proceed into the second dodge and the recovery frame is longer that the first dodge, there are two ways to make it work (maybe more): - don't spam dodge - light attack after first dodge
This guy was so ridiculously hard. Even on medium difficulty. I lost count on the amount of times I died. I finally beat him on what must of felt like the 67th attempt at just 1% of my health.

This is 2024, everyone starts with Dark Soul and Elden Ring or Devil May Cry, trust me there are people who can get No Damage after just a few Boss fights. 👀🤌
Finally, you can fight Lu Bu with real moves instead of keeping your HP in the red for auto-recovering musou. Now, fight him after defeating Diaochan in front of him for extra difficulty.

Good luck on your practice dude! I suggest practicing dodges play, although it raises the risk in fighting, the smoothness of the battle would be way better than spamming just block since the parry blocking animation is really dramatic which doesn't make the fight smooth when over using it💥
I think those bright red attacks are a little too much to the point you can't even see the MC, devs should make the attacks transparent. Otherwise this looks good, Dynasty Warriors May Cry going crazy right now lol

You really need to accept the fact that his super armor is lost after u parry/dodge him. If u need a 100% can't flinch Lu Bu, you can go to Wo Long, I had done some videos of it too. Just don't be too toxic to the new development of games.
When you dodge/parry t officer's attack, there will be a vulnerable state (white glow from the enemy character). Hit the enemy up to the air will let him slow down there and you can juggle him in certain frames.
Sir i got beaten more than 30 times against lubu in normal difficulty and yet you managed to defeat him in hero difficulty with no damage😢 Feels like you also repeat this many times to finally do it.

How are your dodges in a quicker window? Whenever I dodge, the window of the 2nd attack tends to hit. Is it side dodges only?
Idk much about the mechanics since that's my first play in a few hours of the demo. But usually I prefer to dodge towards the enemies.

Yes I did a lot of time, but I succeed eventually. Trials and Errors is always the key to do a aggressive no damage boss fight in any games.
