I'm new to cricut (air) thanks to my babies but I'm learning slow when I'd rather be a pro. I have Senior shirts to make and I'm freaking out a little. This was helpful I'm going to try it!
Thank you because I did my first vinyl cut and I cut out some words and I put them on my cricket but I noticed that every time after that it never cut like the vinyl out or I couldn't even see the lines on the vinyl so thanks again for this tip 👍❤️
OMG thank you so so so much! i was a little panicking because i already unloaded the mat.. so i came back to the normal cut screen on the pc.. i didn't had anything to lose.. so i tried it like that. so people what im trying to say is, even if you unloaded your mat, you can do it again and it will cut exactly where it needs to cut!! thank you so much!!
I do this will every cut I do on the vinyl I'm using now. I found that if I do it once it has something cut and some points or parts aren't cut that well. So now I redo it and it comes out perfect every time.
Hi I’m having an issue where it doesn’t cut all the way through with cardstock. I increased the pressure, changed blades and did everything possible. Do you have a fix for that issue? Thank you
I’m having similar issues with card stock, won’t cut through right side of the carsick or bottom. Did you get a fix? When I try to cut twice everything that did cut becomes crumpled. Customer service was no help at all 😢
hI CAN ANYONE HELO ME WHAT IF WEVE TAKEN THE VINYL OUT THE CRICUT? WILL I CUT IT AGAIN EXACTLY THE SAME?? WILL IT GO OVER THE SAME LINES AND CUT AGAIN???
I cut some vinyl today and it didn’t cut through enough so I placed it again so it cut cut it again and it began cutting in a different spot then then exactly over the previous cut, do you know why it does that?
@@HoneySeesCrafting I had it on the vinyl setting and oracal 651, I had removed it from the mat to weed it and that’s when I noticed it didn’t cut thoroughly so I placed it again but it began cutting in a different place
@@jaylin2315 yes if remove it will cut in a different place. So if u notice it didn't cut you have to leave on machine and just press the c again after it cuts don't remove. Also make sure you have a good blade. It may need to be replaced. Are you using a maker or explorer air 2
@@HoneySeesCrafting ohh okay and I’m using a air 2, I also tried cutting on a smaller piece of vinyl, but just big enough to get the design cut on and have extra room left and it began cutting half way on the vinyl which would then end up cutting on my Mat do you know why that tends to happen?
@@jaylin2315 to me personally the explore air 2 is not my favorite. It has small quirks that I notice problems with. I have one but I also have the Maker which is what I use. You may have to sit down with your machine and do what I call practice and pressure test. Where you test what material and pressure works for your vinyl on your machine. Write it down so you know. It will save you in the long run
This used to work. After changes to the software, this is horrible advice. The software now indexes to the next sheet when you do this, so the cut will not match.
I loved this video. Straight to the point. Not like others where they speak for 10 minutes and still don't show you what to do.

What if you already removed the mat? Should you put it back in and hope it cuts in line?
Yes if you already removed it won’t work. If you put back in you will have to hope that it cuts right.
And what about the cricut maker 3

I would say get a practice piece and try different settings

My vinyl cuts perfectly on the green mat on light cardstock setting but doesn't cut on the vinyl setting

Yeah, when you feed it back through and it cuts again it doesn’t cut the exact same space again it cut it off a little bit

What setting were you cutting on. And what kind of vinyl? Make sure not to remove project from cricut to recut

Does this trick work with Cricut Joy too?
I honestly haven't tried. My joy actually cuts too deep and I have to use less pressure. Might be because the blade is so new.
