  • Here I show the full record on wedging clay, centering clay on the pottery wheel, throwing plates and bowls, and removing them from the bats. From this ASMR video, you can see how I make pots and it may help you learn how to throw. You may simply find this video relaxing. I feel relaxed sitting beside wheels, taking a break from making large sculptures. I hope you enjoy it as well.
Part 1: • Throw porcelain plates...
Part 2: • Trim and decorate clay...
Final Part: • Glaze firing of cerami...
Hi, this is Wanying Liang. I am an artist based in upstate New York. I record the process of how I work on ceramic sculptures. The videos are mostly slow, quiet, sometimes might be boring, but you may find them satisfying to watch, too.
I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you've got any questions down in the comments. Please subscribe to my channel for more videos on ceramic art sculptures.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you soon with a new upload.

How much clay are you using per plate? Lovely work!

Thanks! I didn't weigh the clay. It should be around 2-3 lbs of clay with a lot of trimming.
