I'm happy the show finally decided to do right by these characters and give them a happy ending. Sadly, they were only given less than 3 minutes for such a pivotal moment in their characters' lives. As OG characters, they deserved a lot more. But what we did see is beautiful nonetheless. All the best to both actors as they move forward.

I will truly miss Ethan and April on the show. And I have always enjoyed the dynamic between these OG characters. And I'm a big fan of the show. I certainly wish both actors the best in their future projects .

@@ryanamari2233 Yes the wedding was their exit from the show, but the showrunners said they let them stay in Chicago, because the door remains open for them to make guest appearances on the show or even if they want to return to the show

@@bobsam7838 no it was just in the show but since they’ve been in a relationship for a long time before this, as I’m sure you know, it’s great to see that one of these couples actually worked out instead of breaking up/ breaking up and never getting back together like what happens with most other couples in the Chicago shows.

Love everything about April's wedding attire.
I do not like medical shows very much. But I started watching Chicago Med because of the diversity in the cast. In particular this couple. I loved their characters.I am so happy to see their characters get married with such a big to do. It is about time. Best luck to both of the actors they did a great job in the series.

@@giosy0072 Yes, you are; why would Natalie be there? When was she best friends with either character? If anything, they were coworkers who talked at work at that's it. Since she's a former employee she has no reason to be there.

@@giosy0072 So, she deserved to be at their wedding just because she got along with everyone? SHE WAS NOT friends without either of them outside of work. No one will lie and say Med is good with friendships the only consistent friendships we've seen are Dr. Charles and Ms. Goodwin. Maggie and Natalie ARE friends and 99% of that friendship was used to talk about her Natalie's dating life. Because when Maggie was dealing with cancer it was mostly the other nurses and Cece supporting her. Outside of work we only see Natalie with Maggie or whoever she's sleeping with.
And the actress left the show and seems to be thriving outside of it if. Fans need to get over it and let these people move on with their lives and careers instead of whining. Severide wasn't there and he's still apart of the franchise and one of Aprils longtime friends.
Natalie was a co-worker with April and Ethan. Natalie lives in Seattle.
