I always carry a pack of oreos and a half full water bottle(half so you can squeeze out the air to flat and put in my back pocket)...keeps me going an extra hr or so. So far longest beach hunt was 5.5 hrs. A little bit of sore shoulder by the end but my Legend put me one some nice stuff that day ..Big gold earring, silver ring, lots of coins and few 50cal WWII shells. S NJ beach
