Thanks for this. Very cool technique with the pin! New old 2006 Colt RZ (Z37A), 4G15T, 100,000km, threw DTC P0243 next day after purchase. Although the problem probably could have been elsewhere, I ordered a replacement K5T48280 solenoid valve from China, AU$40 delivered. It cured the P0243 but was a bit inconvenient, having one or both (I forget) nipples at 6mm instead of 4mm. I'd noticed the "restrictor" in the original unit but only later realised that it was absent in the replacement, and that it might be significant. Haven't had any obvious problems in the week since the change. Reading about detonation here, maybe, only maybe, there was one such moment while under heavy acceleration but I didn't hear pinging. Am keeping a bit of an eye on boost via OBD. I try to understand the action of the restrictor by analogy to the RC circuits of electronics and this way it seems to me that the restrictor's effect would be very transitory. What I read here suggests that it shouldn't be dismissed.
theres way to get horse power without mapping. check my czt in my chanel. where my setup is Stock block, stock turbine, stock ecu maps. for more info leave comment below.
If we remove the pill the quantity of the air increase from the turbo to the cylinders, that's the reason that the overboost is biger and the air-fuel mix change. We need good fuel to avoid self-ignition .also its better if we have ecu remap
@@fq8311 im aware the air-fuel mix changes but what ratio do they change to? For example I wouldn't want to be leaner than 12.5:1 when boost hits. I'm aware good fuel is to prevent detonation, I'd prefer a tune in the future but if it's going to be fine then why would I say no to free power for a month or two until I have a tune ready 😎
Yes better performance, with pill off you will increase the overboost, check the boost if you turn off the pill and use 100 oct fuel, but if you have safe mode turn it back.I have a stock czt with pill off for one month and I didn't have problems with 100 oct racing fuel
Hi I took out the pill and it makes me pressure 1.1 bar but I have the error p1963! And only in low revs when I suddenly accelerate to 3000 rpm do I get this error! (Stock ecu)

For your info, without mapping, this mod put almost always the car in default.
By the way with 98 Octan fuel
GTX386 Thanks for the comment

Pavel Panayotov no. Theres no problem removing ONLY the pill. Even if its full stock
Pavel Panayotov no it doesnt need remap. Fully stock czt without pill restrictor works 100% fine.
This is safe mode. There's not only pill removed. Check your wastegate maybe it has been changed from another owner.
What do the AFR's change to when the pill is removed? Trying to work out if it's ok to run my UK spec on 99 Vpower

What about cool temps, is there a fuel cut off or is it well?
The cool temps increase a little
no problemo!!!!!!!!whith evo 9 plugs,good fuel,good oil, 56mm maf case until 1.3 bar
Fun for 50km, after that almost any stock CZT will give faultcodes
The remap solve this faultcodes
@@fq8311 Yes but a stock CZT doesn't come with a remap ;)
hello this for only stock car can remove pill off after uninstall dont change mixture fuel ?
Its changed a little the mixture fuel ,it needs to be more safe ecu remap
@@fq8311 thank you my car ecu remap and don t remove my tuner pill better after remap the pill off?

Put the pill back
Did it but the car did go in limb mode hahah😂😂😂
