I'm so glad you moved that bench forward... it was too far back and what a difference the enitre area is looking... with all the replanting. It makes such a difference to have the right placement and I'm just like you in that I step back, take a look, reimage, move this and bring in that... it looks really nice ! I"M SO GRATEFUL that you take us through the process... many people don't understand the work and love that goes into a gorgeous garden. And then there are the many people who are quite willing to work for it but don't quite know where or how to start. Again, thank you.

2 left gloves make it Right!😂 I do that all the time! Your garden is looking spectacular!I love that you moved the bench forward✅. I use “Scott’s Topsoil conditioner” to work great soil into my clay soil every single single time I plant anything. I have been doing this for two years and my plants always thrive! It is not a heavy bag and it is sold at Lowe’s and Home Depot for $2.50 each. Try it! You will never have soggy plants again. I live in South Carolina, the same zone as you. I totally love the colors , shapes and textures in your garden; it’s very inviting.🥰
The stepping stones also goes with your love for redbuds as well. I may have to order some for me too!! I love that look and how your garden is coming together

That’s gonna be stunning I was at Lowe’s yesterday and found five hydrangeas on clearance got them half off plus additional 50 percent off they do this every year but they don’t tell no one it’s just random and my second year catching it score🙌🏾

This is my first time with Nikko hydrangeas .i receive clipping from my garden friend and both of them are doing so nicely. That bed is going to be gorgeous
You can also use water mixed with used coffee grounds and banana peel. Let it sit for a day, then pour around the hydrangeas to make soil acidic. Natural and the bloom are so beautiful!

I bought that hosta variety from lidl store. My plants grew huge! You are gonna love those. I enjoy watching your channel. I'm in zone 7b, so I follow alot of your recommendations

Beautiful design and placement of the plants! Once I didn’t put enough acidification on my hydrangeas and they grew back pink with BLUISH SPOTS! 😅

I went to a nursery and find a 1gallon oak hydrangea with a beautiful bloom for 10.00 and a red slippers hydrangea and both have 2 plants in them then I went to see a old friend a got a 7 foot Japanese maple free and 3 blueberry bushes now time to work in the yard

Hi, I'm posting this on a whim regarding your rose standard. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you mentioned something about the yellowing of the leaves of which you don't like. Upon my research today, Epsom salts is good for lush leaf growth and healthier blossoms. If that is true, I will be experimenting on my roses 😀. Hope this works for you ( if you didn't already give them away 😅)

What’s the plant behind the hosta you just planted? Also are the hydrangeas is shade or sun?
You move a plant and nothing happens. I move a plant and I get all kinds of drama and half dead looks. 😩 I add transplant vitamins to help with the move and still get drama.
Be sure to get the entire rootball when digging up the plant & baby baby baby it for the first 2 weeks after transplanting! Also try to do it in cooler weather😉
