I have watched this many times, & it still makes me smile. The innocence of Irish society back then was perfect for such a show, & Mike Murphy played ever part so well. I wonder what these people are doing now, & do they look at this with a smile.
" just leave the cardigan and the earrings and I'll trust you for the £3"......" just needs a new sleeve".....the burnt jackets in bits....I've watched this so many times...never fails to cheer me up...brilliant...😂😂😂
you notice how proper the youth sound in these clips compared to youth today. I watch alot of these and it's bizarre how well spoken and mannered youth compare to today's youth
They were great times. Maybe Ireland was a more innocent place back then' but that said people will always be gullible. A candid camera series was attempted a few years ago by a modern Irish comedian ' but it was a disaster. Id love to see Pat Short' trying a series like this. He might be able to carry it. I wonder where these women are now.? Are they still around.?
This must have been filmed a while ago. They are talking in £ instead of €. It's really funny, and these girls are so patient with the lunatic Dry Cleaner. 😂
