The common trope for villains is to be in the field of science, have an unfortunate accident, be doused with chemicals, change form, and go mad, possess abilities with the thing that caused their problem and become a villain. I guess being a scientist in Gotham is equal to writing your villain story!

I would have to say that Dr. phosphorus is one of the coolest looking villains in comics! A green glowing skeleton man can’t beat it ! ✅

Batmans got a lot of villains who glow green and are radioactive in some way. Corrosive man....professor radium....blight and of course Phosphorus

i think i remember seeing this villain in the batman beyond show. i wonder if he is the same character. yet i did find one thing interesting he decided to hide behind sand bags to escape a nuclear radiation explosion. i love learning about these villains so cool
his name was blight in batman beyond, but phosphorus was in the batman 2004 as firefly

Doc reminds me of Blight from Batman Beyond. But Dr. Pros is death incarnate walking on earth. Even Bats had tough time trying to stop him.

Well, DC never put out enough villains in action figures. However, I think there is now a He-Man figure that looks like Dr. Phosphorus now, so that would be a good fudge to get another member of Batman's Rogues Gallery. After Batman and then Superman, DC Rogues Galleries thin out pretty fast. Batman has the largest, then Superman, then Flash, but after that it's really pretty puny. Green Lantern only has about 4 good villains, Wonder Woman only has 3, Aquaman only has 2, Green Arrow didn't have any until Malcom Merlyn became such a big deal. Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Atom, have no real Arch Enemies. That have figures at least.
